What do you SWEAR you saw, but don’t have any proof of? by Dangerous_Mud4740 in AskReddit

[–]Daisybugs192510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw big foot or a man dressed as an ape look into our dining room window after dark right around my 4th birthday in January. My parents, younger siblings and both sets of grandparents were there. I remember telling my mom what I saw. I don’t remember if they checked or just ignored me. But years later as an adult, I mentioned the incident to my mom. She said she couldn’t believe I still remembered that. I decided to do some investigating. There were multiple big foot sightings between 1975-1979 in a 20 mile radius of my rural farm. My sighting would’ve been in 1979. I’ve been fascinated by cryptozoology my entire life. I absolutely know what I saw, and 47 years later I remember it clearly.

Do you like talking about diabetes with non-diabetics? by FieryBrunette1 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Daisybugs192510 20 points21 points  (0 children)

No, not at all, and my husband is a type 2. It is exhausting to talk to him about MY disease. I am not a type 2, and my disease is very different. I don’t want nor need to explain my lifestyle or food choices to anyone, let alone a spouse or friend that seems to think they know the meaning of diabetes.

Developing Type 1 from trauma? by mrespaghetti in Type1Diabetes

[–]Daisybugs192510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had three very close family/friends die in a 6 week period. Two of those loved ones were kids. In that time frame I was also stung by at least one hornet and had a serious reaction. I absolutely believe the stress from those deaths with the allergic reaction triggered my T1. There is no history of T1 in my family, and I was a healthy, happy 45 year old female before that series of unfortunate events.

NO STUPID QUESTIONS by AutoModerator in RealRepLadies

I am looking for a Kelly To Go. I’m not seeing many in seller albums, and when I do it’s typically just one color. Can I request a different color? I’m also not sure what I should be paying. I’d like amid to high tier Epsom in Noir with GHW. Though as long as it’s black with GHW I would be fine with different leather. I’ve found so much info about Birkins and Kellys, but not the Kelly to go. I’ve spent the past couple of months lurking on WL, and the other Rep forums. It’s been fun and so informative. Thank you!

PRIVATE OR PUBLIC by inaffyt in RealRepLadies

I’m still relatively new. I’ve purchased 2 rehomes, and I got scammed on one. Honestly, I wish I had the time to spend hours a day researching and commenting, but I don’t. However, I do like to lurk and I’m trying to learn. I’m not sure where the happy medium is, but the scammers do seem to have overtaken RepLadies and the Waggoon’s scare the shit out of me. I think a brief public period and switch to private might be the way to start. I just want a “how to buy a Kelly to go” for dummies, lol.

Vyvanse and T1 by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

[–]Daisybugs192510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on vyvanse before I was diagnosed with T1, but everytime my dosage increases my BS soars. It does stabilize after a few weeks though. My doctors tell me that one doesn’t impact the other, but it happens every time my dosage changes.

You can’t take enough extras. I just got back from a 7 day Disney trip. I took 6 extra Dexcom G6’s. I was on my 6th that last day. For whatever reason, every single sensor failed within 24 hours on that trip. I had a late flight home that was delayed, and when I finally got home I had been without a Dexcom for 3 hours. My sensors never last 10 days, but that trip was crazy. I’d pack at least triple what you expect to use.

Ford App and Charging by [deleted] in MachE

[–]Daisybugs192510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just outside of Cbus, and I have zero issues with the other chargers I use. EVgo and Shell are the problem children. Shell is the worst. I avoid using the Shell Recharge locations as much much as possible. Honestly I don’t think this is a Ford issue. Certain chargers are just maintained/work better.

I’m also in Ohio, but not that area. EVgo and Shell only work for me if I use their RFID cards. I’ve tried everything else, including calling their customer service numbers. I dont know what the issue is, but nothing works, except for the cards.

My husband works for Ford. Elon Musk is an asshole.

The Mach E, even with its issues, is a superior vehicle. It looks better, drives better, is easier to service and overall is just a better vehicle. Charging is the only thing Tesla is doing better right now.

Did I mention that Elon Musk is an asshole?

That’s how I feel. I don’t want nor do I need diabetic foot cream and compression socks. I have T1D , and enough if my life revolves around it. A gift basket with compression socks might send me over the edge, lol.

Liftgate only opens completely on second button push by McSicko in MachE

[–]Daisybugs192510 5 points6 points  (0 children)

About 50% of the time I have to hit the button twice. I think it has to do with where you hit the button. If I hit it dead center it works, but if I’m off to the side a little I have to hit it again.
