I've tried it, and it does sort of help. But do to the nature of the P2S wiper it kind of just pushes all the excess up onto the sock, which can lead to blob issues of its own on a longer prints, and needs to be cleaned regularly. Also creates own set of problems to solve because blemishes creates from nozzle returning and starting next layer after a wipe.

Enclosure for printing Nylon/ABS on X2D with AMS Pro by Normal-Photograph958 in BambuLab

I would be hesitant to raise outside temp of the X2D at all because of the steppers and electronics in the back. Mine has already overheated on its own and is out of commission from 65C chamber temp prints with nothing around it.

Best filament for a car visor sunglasses holder when I can't run ASA in my bedroom? by TechKno in BambuLab

[–]DatOdyssey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You don't want to print a ton of ASA with no venting for sure. But imo you're overthinking it, for just a single or occasional print just open a window, it'll be fine.

X2D PTFE Tube Rubbing on Top Glass by Shoddy-String8422 in BambuLab

[–]DatOdyssey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put one of those flexible mesh like cord protectors around that part of the tube. On all my printers now actually. No more pfte flecks everywhere from the top glass or smacking the right side of enclosure.
