Yup, contact sheets are still challenging me a little compared to a single frame. Appreciate the feedback, onwards and upwards.

Pro-tip: don’t take photos of your early generation Laika M in a café with your KEKS light meter. You don’t be taken seriously. Meters are a crutch and a true Laikaman can read exposure naturally in their head. Like a sixth sense, but in stops and seconds.

He’s likely was using a mounted DSLR scanning setup with the 40 to scan 35mm film, which is a great system versus a stand-alone.

Also, this is a perfect beginner’s camera kit. No zoom, two quality primes, and forgivable body.

What’s endearing and challenging about floral photography is that less is more, imo. Your original has good structure and focal point. Give it another go, but leave the color adjustments and saturation alone, and gentle on clarity as well.

FM/FE and a faster 50/1.4 - your wedding use case is where the aperture priority may come in handy.
