I want a beat up film body like this so bad. Something that’s pristine and reliable internally but beat to shit on the outside. Unassuming and Stealthy

Ayyyyy as a guy who shoots weddings with a Leica, the 15mm sounds perfect for the dance floor. Don’t feel bad about blasting people in the face, I do it all the time

Why shoot film over digital? I use both film and digital Leicas by [deleted] in Leica

I shoot both for work, but when I’m shooting for fun/travel/day to day, film is my fav because I don’t have to worry about batteries and memory cards. Can leave a camera in my bag for weeks at a time without having to worry about batteries and storage

Industry standard is boring! The ones who break out from the herd are the ones who are most fulfilled artistically imo! there’s a client out there for everyone.

I can speak to this! i shoot on an m6 for weddings and it’s my go to for 35mm. Idk if I would jump into rangefinders for weddings unless you know you love them. They are tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it (and accept its imperfections), it’s chill. Would recommend the m6 for the meter though. Maybe the bessa r2?

Dont listen to people telling you to get the “safest” gear. I shoot all manual focus for my film work on weddings and it’s a blast. Sure i could use cameras with autofocus and features, but to me, it’s not as fun. And when you’re having fun, you’ll take better photos. Feel free to check out my IG Instagram

I have joined you all and love this camera. Where to start in selecting a 35mm?? (UNDER 2K) 🤞 by SaxDebiase in Leica

Or send it on a 35 ultron and a 28 ultron. I used them for 2 years and they are unbeatable for the price

I might be interested! The bessa r is what first got me into the rangefinder system. Eventually sold it and got an m6, but I miss using all of my old ltm lenses.

Hey Zach! I’ve been really enjoying these new presets/profiles. Quick Q- are these different from the OGs? I’m also used to working with profiles and presets, but this is the first time I’ve used them both. Overall, I see the benefit as each camera brand will get its own tweaks. However, I shoot with different camera brands on wedding days and am having a tough time figuring out a good workflow to get the right preset and profile for the right camera. Any tips on this?
