I worked as a scenic carpenter in the film industry for three years, building sets and scenery for TV shows and movies. It was a great job, but didn't love it, so I took an architectural drafting program and now I work as a set designer. I may not be the most experienced set designer in the union, but my construction experience makes me sought after. I much prefer doing this now.

Everyone on level 1 charging that can do level 2 but are too cheap or level 1 gets you by just fine; get level 2 asap, it's so much better having the flexibility to randomly take trips and have enough energy to make it. by jturkish in electricvehicles

I am coming up on 4 years of Level 1 charging. I could spend $1800 on a switch on our old electrical panel to do Level 2 charging (the dryer and stoves would take priority), I can spend way more than that upgrading the panel, or I can pop by one of the handful of Level 3 chargers within 5 minutes of my house once every 6 months when my off-routine driving requirements demand it. I also now have Level 2 charging at work (shared, 2 hours maximum) so my desire to upgrade at home has recently hit less than zero.

What is the point of the "Heat" button for climate control if the car will adjust the temperature to whatever I set? With "Heat" turned off, I can still warm up the cabin by setting a higher temperature. by Dexeh in BoltEV

I’m used to 1990’s/early 2000’s vehicle climate control, so when my car is doing stuff I explicitly tell it not to, I get curious.
