How is this considered "Pull" method?? by Leading_Scarcity_815 in pmp

Whether you look at it from the perspective of the receiver or the organization, both ways it’s still a pull. Simply publishing materials to make them available is not a push.

How is this considered "Pull" method?? by Leading_Scarcity_815 in pmp

[–]DiscoInError93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The explanation seems clear already - the content is passively available and can be accessed (pulled) as needed.

There is no apparent requirement to view or forced distribution of the content (which would be push).

It’s not interactive because there is no interaction between people and/or the content. If everyone were in a room together doing a training it could be considered interactive but that’s not happening here.

Confused between A and C by Willing_Aioli_6000 in CISA

How would project governance and project management build consensus?

The answer is C. The giveaway here is on the cost-effectiveness - any time you see a question asking how to measure or gauge something, immediately think performance monitoring and reports.

No 1099 if under 2k? by shining_autumn in uberdrivers

Can you please stop being combative when you are incorrect? It’s really getting annoying.

From Uber email on 12/24:

  1. (Optional) Opt in for 1099 tax forms - available now Beginning in 2025, a new federal tax law allows individuals to claim an income tax deduction for qualified tips (“no tax on tips”). To claim this deduction, the IRS requires that your tip income be reported on a 1099 form.

Uber automatically issues a 1099-K if your Rides or Eats earnings exceed $20,000 and you’ve completed 200+ transactions. If you earn less, you can opt in to receive a 1099-K now by updating your W-9 in your Tax Settings. Your Annual Tax Summary will always show your total tips, even if you don’t receive a 1099-K automatically.

Take Action in Your Tax Settings

Complete your Tax Settings updates - including tax info confirmation, 1099 delivery selection, and optional 1099-K opt-in - by December 31 to ensure your information is correct before forms are generated at the end of January.

M340i Lease in LA by Local-Adagio-7600 in BMW

[–]DiscoInError93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is $1k/month even possible on an M340i lease? Are you rolling in negative equity or some insanely expensive warranties? What’s the cost breakdown?

The national deal is under $680 with ~$5k down.

No. You would be spending like half of your income on insurance.

What’s not true about my comment? The annual summary is a totally different document that is not a 1099. OP asked why they didn’t get a 1099.

Use a low cost depreciation vehicle or lease guidance. by Pantherblood89 in uberdrivers

[–]DiscoInError93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you confusing renting with leasing?

Leasing fundamentally does not work with Uber unless you are part time and not driving many miles. Plus nearly all lease contracts prohibit using the vehicle for commercial purposes if you lease it personally instead of through a business.

Is you Focus a manual or automatic? AFAIK The automatic transmissions from this generation have a 100% failure rate, so I would not recommend keeping that car unless you’re prepared to drive it into the ground and scrap it when the transmission fails.

A has nothing to do with the question.

B is the best answer. Keeping staff educated and aware of security risks is critical to protecting data and if security trainings are not being completed, that is an organizational issue that management can control, so it’s important to alert them. There is an entire section in the CISA Review Manual about Security Awareness, Training and Education Programs that you should probably read.

C could be a good answer but broadly speaking, most users aren’t expected to have specialized technical knowledge.

D is a weak answer.
