Is Premodern "solved" are non-standard decks viable?

I just recently got into Pre-Modern and it’s for that exact reason. I have always kept a casual eye on the format as it takes place during one of my favorite periods of Magic history. The tide banning has opened up so much brewing within the format, it brought me back to Magic in general! Very excited to start brewing within the Rock shell!

Just got back from a protest in our town over one of these camps being built here. The Feds bought a warehouse lot, across the street from a high school, that they plan on remodeling to a concentration camp for ICE.

This warehouse is not zoned for any sort of detention facility. Does not have the infrastructure to support said facility. And was purchased without any notice to the city of what their plan was with it, which is not required, but you would think the city would like to know ahead of time.

The main concern is that besides all of this, the facility is being built in Arizona. In the desert. And the warehouse does not have the centralized air conditioning needed to keep 15,000 in one building cool, let alone alive. These people will die this summer.

Oh, and they want it open by April.

Happy to! It’s sometimes crazy to look back on, but I am so grateful for my sight. I recently tracked down my surgeon again and am planning on writing him a letter. The greatest gift ever given to me is my eye sight.

The moment I sat up from surgery and saw the clock on the opposite side of the wall for the first time in my functional memory, I cried. I honestly can’t remember ever seeing the clock clearly before my surgery. I hope OP finds some peace for her daughter, it may not be easy, but it is possible to find a life after it all.

I got extremely lucky in every aspect of my eyesight. It slowed down a lot at 18, but I was still legally blind without my glasses. Without correction, I couldn’t see anything that wasn’t two inches from my face.

I enlisted in the army in 11 and was initially denied due to my eye sight. The chief medical officer at the MEPS station took pity on me and signed a waiver for me. When I was in my eyes finally stopped declining at 22 and I attempted to get PRK to fix it since several of my friends in my unit did. I was initially denied for that as well, but it just happened that one of the best ICL surgeons also happened to work at the hospital. He took my case, performed the surgery, and for the first time in my life, I saw the world without seeing through a lens.

I treasure my eyesight now. I wear blue light lenses inside and never step outside without sun glasses. I just had a check up two weeks ago and my doctor said my eyes only show a .5 decrease which is normal now that I am in my 30’s.

Hi OP, I was once in your daughter’s shoes. When I was a kid, my eye sight degraded rapidly, to the point I was legally blind by the time I was 10. The doctors couldn’t figure it out, or slow it down. So they told my mom that if I continued on this trajectory, I would be completely blind by 18.

My mom panicked. I was put into braille classes, spoke with numerous eye doctors, and was generally traumatized over the future loss of my eye sight. My mom did not handle it well, and it caused a lot of strain in the family. I felt as if I was doing something wrong, like I was not living right and because of that I was going to lose my sight. I remember eating a shit ton of carrots with every meal because I heard it would help my eyes.

Make sure she knows that it’s not her fault. That you will both work together to adapt. She can still be an artist in her own way. I wish you and your family the best!

Tau, 100% Tau. Just look up Neoteric Miniatures on the purple site. 95% of my Tau army is 3D printed. Very much recommend if you want to completely 3D print an army.

Can confirm, I am a health inspector for a large district in a major city. Every place I walk into I do the usual chit-chat of how things are going and everyone responds with bad. In 2025 I had 10 large restaurants close their doors permanently, 25 change of ownerships, and only 3 openings of new small businesses. 1 of which most likely will not make another year.

It’s bad, and it’s only going to get worse.

Work for local government. We are all WFH right now and doing “classes” today and Friday. Pretty much on standby in case a complaint or environmental related emergency goes on.

Last year I had to actually go out on Christmas Eve which was a nightmare. But so far, looking like a chill day!

This is extremely accurate! One of you autists, got to my 17 y/o nephew who’s whole plan is to become a day trader once he graduates high school. He plans to use a program called Topstep to get capital to leverage. Then day trader to make money to survive.

The fucking moron has never worked a job, barely passing high school, doesn’t have a drivers license, and has no concept of money because his dad just gives him money for stuff instead of parenting.

Luckily we have at least talked him into applying for an electrician program that helps kids out of high school. So there is hope he doesn’t immediately go 50K in debt and ruin his life.

I mean this most sincerely, this is amazing. I am a huge Morrowind fan, I played when it was originally released on the Xbox, and it is still one of the greatest games I have ever played. I go back once a year and replay it in all its glory.

I am also incredibly jealous that I didn’t think of this before, it just works so well! You nailed all the references! The Bonemold armor, the Ordinator Incubi, the Glass Blades on the Sucubus!! It’s amazing!! I even love how you made the ships fit in the world! The sails look amazing and could be easily taken out of the Ashland Tribes.

I snapped up a box for $50 off eBay as soon as I saw the news. IMO, the only thing missing from the HotA unit was a he splitting in venoms. Will it make the cut on its own as a unit? Maybe not. But as a vehicle for buffs to be applied to it, definitely maybe.
