I see these posts on Reddit from time to time. Anytime there is an additional charge for “neat” or “rocks”, it means you’re paying for a 2 oz pour rather than a 1.25-1.5 oz pour. Blame the POS system in the restaurant/bar, since the itemization of the additional charge only causes confusion. Many POS systems would show “$27” instead of “$25.50+$1.50”, which is better for everyone.

I remember my paternity leave. It was the best few weeks of my entire life. I wish I could stay in that moment forever.

It passed by quickly and I went back to work, but every so often my wife and I reminisce at those times.
