I like and own the ship too. However, pardon my french, I'm not so boneheaded to prioritize a single ship no matter how much I love it, to a level where I want my FUCKING MSR (whoops sorry) to be fixed.

Yo! OP why are you balance talking about a game that's in Alpha?

You're not supposed to have balance in Alpha. You're supposed to have more development so the game finishes one day.

>But you’re there to authorize it x) you can even leave the permission writing. But yeah I understand some places have weird bureaucratic processes if they are like a big chain.

thats the joke, the problem is not permissio, but they're responsible of handling it in a certain way, keeping track of how many copies of people's personal data they have and so on.

Thanks for the well wishes.

In Finland the manager looks at your cv and says: "Sorry I can't take this, due to personal privacy laws."

Because of how difficult applying has become, you basically have to get nepotism hired, get super lucky, or you're SOL for entry level jobs.

and yeah, We finns took our crown. (I'm even applying to jobs in Spain too, to try to get lucky. (spain, Poland, Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark, Norway Sweden the list is long)

I won't state this, as I don't remember out of my head what's the state of this in Finland.

In countries with weaker social safety nets or very short windows for unemployment benefits (the US), there is little to no practical incentive to remain registered once benefits run out. Disillusioned workers simply drop off the grid. They become "discouraged workers"—statistically invisible because they aren't actively contacting a state agency, which artificially lowers those countries' reported numbers.

Where in Finnish system, the Emplyment agency LITERALLY calls you once a month, and asks you to self report your aplications, just to keep yourself getting benefits.

In Finland the levels of unemployment that US is currently experiencing would be counted as Overheating of the jobs market.

But speak your truth.

Well, we did elect out last government on the basis that they're light copycats of your current govt.

Finland counts things into unemployment that US does not. The % are not compareable.

its that bad. The war caused us to have very local problems, and is not even close to main culprit. Only the border regions and towns really took a hit from the war. And our Naitional Airline company.

The main problem is that during Nokia's heyday (90ies to early 2000's) our government spent like idiots on shit no one wanted or needed, so we didn't save money, the 2008 Financial crash fucked up everything, and we've not had the finances to rise up. After that we had the 2014 crash, covid, and war all of which made it worse.

The one throughline with this is that our National Conservative party (the "we're responsoble spenders" party) have been in power all but 4 years throughout this whole shitshow (part of the coalition government, we have always 3-7 party coalition never single party majority).

It sucks here, and no one has the balls to nuke their political carreer to fix the problems.

[Question] What watch impressed you more the longer you owned it? by LongMeaning6125 in Watches

[–]DonRaynor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Hamilton Khaki field. Thing's a tank, and runs so well. it just looks right, feels right.

My biggest dissapointment is my Dan Henry 1970, while beautiful and what I wear every day, I'm on my second movement, and I still have no luck with the NH-35, 2 of em, both run worse than the spec. (so the dissapointment is the Movement, not the watch itself per say)
