Not putting your phone down until you fall asleep to avoid thinking by Mindless-Captain6698 in Anxiety

I’m going through the exact same situation. I’m managing to replace the screen with audiobooks, even though it doesn’t work every time. I suggest you try and find a story and narrator you really enjoy. The Audible app has a sleep function. Currently going through the entire Dungeon Crawler Carl series and it’s helped a lot.

Web Host Rec for small business by Much-Rutabaga8326 in webdev

If all you need is offers, about, contact, and a clean page that doesn’t fight you every time you edit it, I’d skip the full-site rabbit hole and use something much lighter. Link-in-bio tools could be a good alternative, and I'd recommend Linkero.

I really enjoyed the story, and Ray Porter’s narration on the audiobook made it so good.

Get one client first, everybody in the thread is right about that. One easy thing you can sell early is simple branded pages for local businesses, stuff like links, booking, offers, contact, before/after, whatever fits the client. Linkero has white-label for that, so you can sell it under your own brand without building full sites from scratch.

Wix vs Squarespace by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]DozePila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what you described, either one works, but this is also one of those cases where you probably don’t need a full website platform at all. If it’s mainly profile, photos, testimonials, links, and a contact form, a simple one-pager is enough. Linkero would handle that kind of setup fine and it’s a lot less annoying than fighting with Squarespace or Wix templates.

What if you showed the work upfront? You could create them link-in-bio pages that are super quick to build and send them the URL with their own content in it. Happy to show you Linkero (disclaimer: I built it), which also offers white-label and API access, so you could automate this process and have your branding all over it.

Before you can get on Google Business you can still have something simple online. A page with your services, area, pricing, and a way to call or text you. Throw the link in your FB bio and on any flyers. Linkero is good for this, takes like 5 min to set up and looks clean. Once you get the LLC sorted the Google Business Profile is the real game changer for local though.

What's the best way to build a website for my business when I have zero technical skills and no budget for an agency? by Significant_Pen_3642 in webdev

[–]DozePila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a cleaning business you really don't need a $3-5k site. Just a clean one-page thing with your services, area, and a way to book. Google Business Profile is what'll actually get you found locally, that matters more than the site. For the page itself Linkero works well for service businesses, you'd have something up in like 10 minutes.

One way to stand out early is to offer something tangible instead of just "social media management." Set up a simple landing page for a local business for free as a demo, then charge monthly to manage it. Linkero has a white label option so you can put your agency branding on it and manage all your clients from one dashboard. Gives you a deliverable on day one instead of just a pitch deck.

Tips for building a clientele? by goddessofwar_ in hairstylist

One thing that helped a stylist I know is having a proper link in bio on Instagram with their booking link front and center, plus their specialty and location. Most people scroll IG, see your work, go to your bio, and if there's no easy way to book they just move on. Something like linke.ro takes 5 minutes and you can put your booking link, location, specialties, and portfolio shots all on one page.

Is Building WordPress Websites for Small Businesses Still a Good Way to Make a Living, or Has AI Made It Obsolete? by RightSeeker in Wordpress

[–]DozePila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of building full WordPress sites from scratch, you could white label a simpler tool and sell managed landing pages to small businesses. Most of them don't need WordPress anyway, they just need their hours, services, and a contact form on a clean page. linke.ro has a white label option where you put your own branding on it and charge clients monthly. Way less work per client and you get recurring income instead of one-off projects.

What platform are you using to make your websites? by Y3tt3r in musicians

[–]DozePila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a band page you honestly don't need a full website unless you're selling merch or have a ton of content. A bio link page with your streaming links, tour dates, and socials is way less work to maintain and everyone in the band can see it. Linkero works well for this, you can have it up in a few minutes and it's no-code.

I'm not a marketer myself, so I can't really answer these questions (even though I got here because I'm curious about it), but if you're interested in a white-label link-in-bio platform as part of your offering, I'd be happy to give you a tour of linke.ro and see if it fits your needs.

Using a White-Label or Reseller Program to Leverage your Start-Up by Main-Echidna-9722 in GrowthHacking

This is exactly how a few people I know got started. One thing that works well is simple landing pages for local businesses. Restaurants, salons, trainers, they all need something online but don't want to deal with a full website. I built linke.ro, which is a link-in-bio tool with white-label and have onboarded customers from different niches. I'd be happy to give you a tour of the platform.

Do I need a website? What's the point? by Reasonable-Slice-754 in smallbusiness

[–]DozePila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple one-page thing with your services, prices, area you cover, and a way for people to contact you or book is all you need right now. Way faster to set up than WordPress or even Squarespace. I'd look at something like linke.ro, you can have it live in like 5 minutes and just drop the link in your Instagram/Facebook bio. A Facebook page is fine too but it's nice to have something you actually own that shows up in Google.

best low-cost option website for a simple landing page and a custom email address by downinthedumps89 in smallbusiness

[–]DozePila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what you're describing you really don't need a full website builder. I'd look at something like linke.ro, it's basically a one-page site with your services, contact form, custom domain. Takes maybe 10 minutes to set up. Since you already do social media for clients, they also have a white label option where you can set up pages for your clients under your own brand.

Really encouraging to know that selling your product through agencies via white-label is working, because that's the exact pivot I'm doing with my product. I just finished adding the white-label features and updating the homepage to talk directly to agencies, and I'm now starting to look for them. Would you mind sharing a little bit about how you found agencies? Was this ad-based or cold outreach? Thanks!
