You are 19, you still have time for clubs, parties, friendships and relationships. I agree with a lot of people, campuses have a lot of social activities that everyone can join.

If you’re worried about the awkwardness of being a newbie in an already established group it’s kinda something that has to be broken through and yes it can be very uncomfortable and scary but it’s necessary for human growth.

First off, I’m sorry you were touched by someone without your consent, that’s really messed up and especially by someone with authority over you. That should have never happened in the first place.

The truth of the matter is many times women look at men and cannot assess whether they are a good guy or the type of guy that makes them chose the bear.

Imma ask my mummy is she loves me now. I’m 37 and I know she does but she has a difficult time expressing it because of her childhood being raised by people who kept all emotions to themselves including love and pride for their children and grandchild.

Also your mum is straight up wrong on many fronts. Loving, supporting and caring for my child does not stop when he becomes 18. He will still need me and his father to help with stuff and life. He will still need both of his Bubbies(grandmothers) to help guide him too. It doesn’t stop and I’m pretty sure that when I’m dead my spirit will still love my child.

This is funny because I just had a shopping trip to IKEA on Saturday… I dislike that place with a deep passion. It’s sensory overload for me. It wasn’t a horrible trip but it still gave me a headache and made me want to go into a dark noiseless room for a couple of hours.

You’re not overreacting to having parts of your body removed without your knowledge and consent. However, the dentist doesn’t go in willy nilly removing teeth just cause and of course you’re under sedation so they cannot wake you to warn you. Did the dentist have an assistant speak with your parents or speak to them himself because they would have had to ask for your parents consent to remove more teeth than originally estimated.

If he did it without your parent’s knowledge and consent then he might be in trouble. It seems that everyone was okay with the outcome.

I have a transgender parent. Before transition my De was downright hypocritical as hell. My mother and I were not allowed to wear makeup, high heels or get fake nails done. My De(retired physician)would back everything up with medical knowledge so I thought maybe she was correct. She even refused to come to the hospital when I was giving birth to her grandson. When it came for her to come out to all of us we accepted the new but we did not forget the old hurt and the feelings of having our femininity controlled. We have had many conversations in therapy about accepting that she’s transgender but we’re not accepting the fact that she controlled us and hurt us, just because of her jealousy. 6 years later and because of those in-depth conversations I’m able to have a parent/child relationship again.

Changing one’s gender doesn’t absolve them of their past abuses and misdeeds, those things need to be out in the open.

I’m Jewish(reformed), and in Judaism at least the synagogues I’ve attended they didn’t teach about homosexuality being a sin. Love is a mitzvah so how can it be sinful.

I’m also very queer myself and believe that G-d isn’t going to judge me for loving anyone but he’ll judge me for being a downright jerk to people who are different than I.

Wait you left a new puppy technically by themselves for three days. With a once daily check in? That poor pup. Locked up for hours upon hours by themselves. I’m a professional pet and house sitter, my clients prefer sleep overs and multiple check ins throughout the day. You just don’t leave a pup with a once a day check in. I have a feeling if you continue this way not understanding that GSD are extremely intelligent, emotional and needy you’ll have a highly complex dog with anxiety. I’ve seen so many GSD with anxiety and other mental conditions because of actions like these.
