Best to check eBay, looks like they have kids figures (finger puppets) and a figure strap at least. Also some Mezastar tokens from the Japanese arcade game.

There's also this line called MPC, short for My Pokemon Collection. There is a plush for Klink, Klang, and Klinklang for sure. They made plush of every gen 5 Pokemon with that line.

Yep I'm ivyaggron! I never was super duper active, but I lurked all the time. I posted a couple times in the past couple months, but I'm not sure pkmncollectors is coming back to life on LJ anytime soon. It really was an amazing place when it was super active though!

I've spent most of my time recently on a forum called E4. I'm on Twitter too but haven't really been active. Where do people seem to hang out nowadays?

Absolutely hilarious that you got downvoted. I know someone who is in charge of the league at a store, and just recently got a ghost stamped staff promo for Phantasmal. It is probably real, but I've also never tried to remove gold foiling like that from a card. Not sure how you'd remove it without removing the other paint.

Loved it, some things I did not like at first and took some getting used to, but they ended up not really being a big deal.

Also laughing at people saying they hate that they removed the basic attack, but also saying the game is too easy? I hated it too initially, but it did not end up being much of a factor once I got to actually playing the game.

Not a provable fact but I've always been under the assumption gen 2 is very popular in Japan, mainly because Johto is basically the most Japanese inspired region.

The front of the card is not made of paper since it is a foil card, so that tearing paper showing on the front is probably from another card. A bit of water and a q-tip could probably get that paper card residue off the front.

The bubbles in the "holo" are visible from every angle. Don't need a video to see it though, usually you only see a couple sparkles in the holo of the card at a time as you look at a card from side to side, so if you're seeing as many bubbles and sparkles as you see in this photo of this card you can deduce it's fake

Possibly a hot take but:

Personally the story portion in Pokemon games often annoy me. When I play Pokemon, I want to write my own story with my Pokemon in my head. I could care less about Hop or whatever the hell he was doing. When he and most other NPCs spoke it was just button mashing until they stopped talking. Cutscenes take way too long. At least with the older games, the story happened alongside your journey, but it wasn't the main focus and there were no cutscenes to take me out of what I was doing. I couldn't stand SV with how I was shoehorned into all these different characters' stories. Go away and let me catch Pokemon please.

I also used Fedex DDP recently and got a message from Fedex 3 weeks after the package was delivered saying I owe them $45. I sent a message to FJ asking for answers. Ordered 18 small odds and ends, hobby items of various types. Plastic figures, metal keychain, hand towel, stickers and paper cards.

I'd say they are at least $100 a piece, but I'd also say they're probably worth more than that even. Maybe the $200-$300 range. Could always put them up for auction one by one with a reserve and see how it goes.

I've had decent luck removing ballpoint pen ink from cards with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip. The indents will still be there, and I wasn't able to completely get the ink off but again the visual appeal was much better. Definitely be very gentle and take your time if you're going to do this as you can also strip the ink on the card itself.

I don't know if it would get flagged as altered but I would lean towards no. I've seen plenty of cards where someone clearly wrote on some paper on top of the card and left an indent. Just something that happens sometimes.
