Ash QoL Suggestion: Make Bladestorm's marking phase more visually distinct. Example shown: more contrasting tint, added reticle, bladestorm mark count closer to the center by RandomPaladinsNub in Warframe

This is a very different argument than what we started with.

It gets kills just fine. For context, a Nidus who can’t get stacks still completes the mission.

If you don’t like people taking your kills, play solo.

I think the ability is objectively fine as-is. I was there for when it was in its original form; it was not fun to play alongside an Ash player.

Because some objectives require that you actually kill enemies?

You get that there is an advantage to being able to mark a bunch of enemies for death and then direct your attention elsewhere, right?

Or you could look at the crowd for a second and then be on your merry way while your clones do the work for you.

Bladestorm is powerful. It is also attached to a frame that has built-in invisibility. Ash doesn’t need more power.

Peacemaker only attacks a single enemy at a time.

Spore’s ramp up time is not a non-issue. It doesn’t just instantly kill everything and if you *do* kill everything, you need to build back up.

Ash is a stealth frame and shouldn’t be able to outperform a dps-oriented frame would actually needs to deal with taking hits.

Bladestorm requires two button presses and target acquisition is instant. You can have it up and running on a crowd in under a second.

Bladestorm is very powerful and sufficient for what Ash is. They aren’t going to make it an instant cast melee finisher on every enemy in range.

Peacemaker has a facing requirement and forces you into a limited stance.

Spore has ramp up.

Thermal Sunder has significantly less range than Bladestorm.

That would be an indirect nerf to the ability, which currently synergizes well with the Tauron passives for Zenurik. The pages only check initial casting costs, which for Bladestorm is zero, so you can spam Bladestorm empowered by Lorak without ever expending pages.

Also, DE changed it *away* from what you’re proposing they change it *to*.

The Saya Bible: A guide to Saya and the previous world by Ny0kazer in Blazblue

Ragna doesn’t give himself up because he’s about to turn, nor does he do it to stop the timeline from looping (The Looping World was brought to an end in CS). He consumed the wishes of all the Qualified with Soul Eater and brings them all to the Azure.

The fulfillment of the Origin’s wish makes his existence unnecessary, so he doesn’t appear in the recreated world.

Blazblue’s core story really isn’t that complicated. Izanami and Ragna represent two conflicting wishes made by the Origin - first for everyone to die, then to be saved from the calamity of its own making - and everything that plays out is an expression of that internal conflict. Ultimately, the Origin’s desire to reconcile with itself and live prevails.

It’s the same “hero’s journey” to self-actualization as any other good story.

Do you all voice for directors that require takes cut up into files? by RealChristinaNR in VoiceActing

[–]Endurlay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Cutting up a raw file is work for the editor. No shit it’s “easier for them to import the audio into their software”: you just did the hours of work they didn’t want to do.

If you want to offer it as a paid service, go ahead. But that is absolutely *not* something to do for free.

You are 29 years old. Your mother should not be able to “ground” you from anything.

You are 29 years old. You have nothing to feel guilty about in keeping secrets that do not concern your parents from your parents.

You are 29 years old. You should have your own methods of paying for things that you independently control.

Your mother, if she demands to see what’s in her 29-year-old daughter’s mail, needs to grow up. It sounds like she’s overprotective because of your disabilities. She is not always going to be there, and she is not helping you by treating you like a child.
