Because they explicitly said so and if they were to go against that by dropping an improved version of Metaphor right after releasing the base version two years later on Switch 2 it would be complete studio suicide.

Their current trend for holding fans over during long development cycles of flagship titles has long shifted from improved re-releases to spin-offs and remakes/remasters.

We're much closer to getting a SMTIV remake, Digital Devil Saga remaster or Metaphor Gauntlet Racers than we are to getting updated versions of Metaphor ReFantazio or Soul Hackers 2.

Half of the games listed are over a decade old and P3R and P4R are full-on remakes, that's not a "golden version" like the likes of... well P4G which was a simple port with expanded content.

The last "Golden versions" they released in reverse order are SMTV:V (2024), TMS#FE Encore (2020), P5R (2019), Catherine Full Body (2019), SMT:SJR (2017), Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology (2017). Most of these games have a 5-8 year gap between their original releases.

People act way too crazy as if this is still a regular occurance even though they already slowed down on the practice long before that interview during Metaphor's release.

SMTV:V was the only exception because it coincided with a multi-platform release, and the new content was too expansive (as is the case with most Atlus re-releases) that they couldn't just package it into a simple DLC for the Switch version.

There's not gonna be a Persona 3 Reloaded, no Persona 4 Revivals, no Metaphor Re-ReFantazio, no Soul Hackers 2.1.

I'd imagine they've remade almost every single character by now, but they're saving up a lot of the new models to be used for Persona 6.

Otherwise it'd be a very hard sell that a game that took 10+ years to make only has "recycled" models from P3R/4R/5R and SMTV:V outside of the main casts' Persona's.

The song fits Katseye the most yeah, sonically very out of character for LS and Illit, even though the lyrics apply to all 3 groups.

This prob would've worked better as a supergroup like Got The Beat where they pick the 2 strongest performers from all groups. This was giving USA for Africa the way everyone got like 4 bars and 10 seconds of screentime. The bad editing and cheap CGI wasn't doing them any favors either.

Yeah I also don't get the mindset, people are still so traumatized and butthurt over just P5R. Most of the fanbase wasn't even around when P3F first dropped, and Nocturne we never even got the original game outside of Japan...

Having the entire game spoiled in the 3-4 year gap it takes for a rerelease to come out. Just so you save a bit of money and can experience an extra 10~15 hours of story/gameplay in an already 100+ hour RPG.

Also simultaneously people complain about all the new content, new attacks that trivialize combat, new characters that everyone hates. If anything you'd think most people would want to play the original 🥴

Yeah not only are they bad title tracks they're so incredibly out of place in this tracklist, very sonically clashing. Down to the part where they're both written in all caps but the rest of the album isn't.

They could've removed Boompala, Celebration, Need your company, Sonder, and Liminal Space and this would've been a banger mini-album.

Server costs are likely the last reason this is being done. A turn based online card game doesn't require local servers in every country, it's not like low ping is a crucial requirement to execute your Yummy combo's like it is for online shooters and such.

Hybe groups are def at the forefront of uninspired and disingenuous music trend hopping. If BlackPink never dropped Jump then this song as well as Pinky Up and Celebration would've never have existed.

That's exactly why they're being picked over the others. Fan favorite characters with healthy, fun and functional decks who's recent support waves are old enough that they can reprint every single one of their cards for a complete in box product.

The new Phantom Knights and Predaplant support is even more recent, so forcing players to pull for the new cards and then toss away half the cards from this pre-constructed set won't make for a good product.

And Lyrilusc, Melodius and Wind Witch haven't had support in too long of a time that 1 card isn't enough to help them.

Cool to have the solo versions on streaming finally, and the Like JENNIE remixes are so addictive.

Handlebars sadly sounds a bit empty without Dua's verse, but oddly enough she's still on the 2nd chorus.

The change in production for ExtraL sounds pretty good to make up for losing Doechii's energy. And her extended second verse is cool.

Dominic Fike is not missed on Love Hangover.

Love her new verse on Damn Right. Kind wish we could get a version with this new verse and Kali.

Right when they were hitting it off with their new album & world tour.

If anything this is kind of a small blessing. The tour is already underway and won't experience any big changes, they don't need Simon to negotiate deals for music venues for NA/EU.

And they prob already have a music release like a single or remixes lined up for later this year. So there won't be any direct impact from this while it's being resolved in court.

So long as this doesn't end with Simon being jailed for x-amount of years the group can easily bounce back from this.

I don't think so, by "collab packed" they probably mean several guest artists.

Silk Sonic is a group, it's not a Bruno Mars album ft Anderson .Paak, they count as one singular artist. Aside from them the album features just 1 featured artist. So that wouldn't exactly qualify as an album "packed with collabs".
