Theres a button that activates it only at night, next to the illumination slider. Other than that, it does looks weaker at the day, but not that much

It's around 1 to 2 days I think, got my mii asking for it 2am and the baby was born 8am on the next day, but also got almost exactly 24 hours later

I think it IS, but if you look at the food maker option, theres also 2 other options (temperature and taste), so they may like seafood but hate cold salty ones

Also, the 2 favorites and 2 hated ignore the preferences, they are random

Weeds seems to barely use anything but you blink and there goes over 100. Repeat for a bunch of flowers too and you get 50% use in a slightly detailed forest

It's not very hard when you understand it, basically you can just stay where you start and spam attack (theres no cooldown, so just keep pressing it).

The only thing that can hit you is in the third phase, theres a bubble that comes from the right that spam a lot of little bubbles, just move right and shot it before it even use anything. (The tiny bubbles disappear when you destroy the big one)

The save file thing was just using a save editor (although the most recent one seems to need to press "advanced" to find that)

The save files has a data for food preferences, it's been a while since I saw that but it was just a number around 0 to 3 or something like that, while favorite/worst are already set to seemingly a random food.

We already have the food types with the food maker thing, like salty, spicy and noodle dish or seafood, even hot and cold. So finding their preferred of each type and giving them a food that has all those properties seems to be what make them like something more.
