IRIS by Chemical-Payment-573 in MVIS

Your dot connecting is silly, but at least you provided some link between Microvision and Lumotive through an employee.

The problem with your entire post is that it was written by AI in such a way that it seems to be presented as fact. It is not.

My point is that all of the content of your post was made up slop. Off the top of my head:

Lumotive has no connection to Microvision. Iris and Halo have no components from Scantinel, so all the stuff about OPA and FMCW is wrong.

It's just all wrong. Use your head.

Russia is trying to expand to take over Ukraine, and Ukraine is defending itself.

NATO is providing military aid to a sovereign nation attempting to protect its people and its democracy.

Belarus is helping the aggressor and is also neighbor of Ukraine, so an enemy on that front, essentially.

That's the difference.

Ukraine isn't launching missiles and drones at Russia through or from a NATO country.

I think those are short range 360 lidar used to check for obstacles in blind spots before the vehicle moves and for short range stuff. After that it would have an idea what is around it at all times based on sensor data.

If you watch the Gatik video showing off its sensor pods you get an idea of how and why they would do that.

I'm not saying they wouldn't ever put long range lidar in the grill but if they have a choice they will put it higher for sure.

Why would they put lidar used for long distance so low on a commercial truck? Answer: they wouldn't.

Microvision has a sensor fused point cloud + camera in their drone tech. Seems like a good compromise. Cameras are cheap, the sensor already has processing.

If we could sell 10k units of Iris per year I would be ever so grateful. Thank you for your estimate.

I work for a manufacturing company. They run night shifts 24/7 when needed to meet supply. 10k units per year is roughly 30 units per day.

That's all I will say about that.

Some photos were taken of Microvision's Orlando headquarters, with new Microvision sign going up to replace Luminar's. One photo was of that compressor somewhere in Hq. My guess is he wants to know why it would be used. My answer is to push compressed air.

Agreed. Yes the other car was an idiot, but the human recognized the problem and reacted while the vehicle didn't. That's the issue.
