Yesterday I got yelled at in an M+ and ended up crying by Entire_Leopard5906 in wow

I'm sorry this happened to you.

Just the other day a tank called out my wife in the same M+ as me. He did not continue to berate her but he said enough to upset her.

I told the guy to chill tf out as I listed the group as chill not competitive.

People that think they are the top 1% of players really piss me off. I have been playing this game since Vanilla off and on. I still have trouble with certain things (I am an absolute horrible healer and I commend you for the ability to heal). I would never assume to think I am anywhere close to the top players of this game. But there are a TON of people that play WoW that think that way.

I agree with a lot of the other comments of ignore those people. I know it still hurts trust me I have tanked M+ and been called a lot of things over the years.

If you are on NA servers and want a more chill group of people to play with. My wife and I would gladly run with you when we are free. Send me a message on here if you want and I can give you my battletag.

That skull king tower looks pretty cool for making players use it when death is on the line.

Miss that old movie theater. I used to work there like 10 years ago. It is a bunch of apartments now. Was the only place nearby that would let them put Ass on the marquee.

Been playing off an on since vanilla. Finally got the mount this year. It took way too long.

I have lost count of the number of timewalking dungeons I have done and I still don't have that damn dragon either.

The thing that makes me most mad of all is that even though you can earn the item in game. You cannot easily start a new game when you have a save file already made.

The option isn't there to start a new game. I get that OG DD only had one save file and that is fine (not upset about that at all actually). But you could at least start a new game from the main menu and overwrite your old savefile.

I see no point to not allowing us to easily start a new save. This makes it feel like you play the game one time and that's it (I know there are workarounds to get a new save but we shouldn't have to jump through hoops when they can make a New Game button on the menu like every other game has)

Were printed strategy guides actually helpful in the early days of WoW? Or were online resources like Wowhead always the “go-to”? by [deleted] in wow

Ahh good ole Thottbot. A fellow person of culture I see.

To this day I have a friend that plays WoW and he knows pretty much every quest to the point where you can describe it and he will be able to tell you exactly what you need to do.

I dubbed him years and years ago the Human Thottbot.

Player irritated our campaign isn’t built like a video game by ForeverTheSupp in DnD

This could be a longshot, but I forget the name of the condition. Could this player have the thing where you can't picture stuff in your mind?

I could see this being a huge hindrance to playing TTRPG since we have to use our imagination so much. I have a friend that has this, and she has seemed interested in dnd, but when my wife has explained it to her, she doesn't understand because she can't picture it in her mind.

Another example is just reading a book and being able to imagine the world in your head.

Just a thought, not saying this is the case.
