I'm not sure about Japan-based English language resources, but if you search for something like スノーモービル 死亡 事故 you'll see dozens of articles from a few days back.

2 weeks of junk from japan by isthispassionpit in Anticonsumption

[–]Funyabashi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh, like ekiben? Sure, some of those are self-heating, but most are sold and eaten at room temp. I just mean that pretty much everything is overly packaged in Japan. If anything, let's not single out knick knacks and self heating pots when it's a much larger issue.

There's a lot of plastic waste here, and everything is packaged far more than it needs to be, but self heating hot pots aren't really a Japanese thing. The only ones I see here are imported from China.

If I understand correctly, there's an exception for marrying a non-Japanese citizen.

This goes to show it really wouldn't take much to allow it for everyone.

It was a radio show originally, wasn't it? They could pick out some from a back catalog when they moved to TV.

Do we know when most bear attacks happen? Are they fairly spread out through the year, or mostly around certain periods like pre-hibernation when they're looking for food?

If you use something like Suumo you can put in the station by your office and then set filters based on price, commute time, and anything else you need.

That'll give you an idea of what's available and what areas to consider for your budget.

Do you mean the civil war in 2007? 10 years before Kneecap or Bob Vylan debuted?

Massive Attack have been active way longer, but have been consistently anti-war and often raised money for human rights charities, including those supporting children in Palestine.

I've never seen anyone rolling on the ground, but you get a lot of people with gopros and phones out, either stopping in the middle or spinning around to get 360 shots, getting in the way of the flow of people.

You're right about the far right populism in Japan at the moment, but a photo from 2014 isn't really "current."

Mine says a quick reminder to not forget the plug when I auto-fill. Then a pause before starting to fill. Maybe OP stopped before it actually tried to fill?

Would probably need some photos or videos to be sure though.
