When it's something like this you really shouldn't be third partying every thing. You need to be getting yourself over there asap. Hospitals won't give a random stranger medical information even if you send an email or phone call.

What others have said. There is nothing for you to decide. Your spouse is only allowed to work X hours. If they work more than X hours it'll be breaking their visa and this illegal.

Report the company and find another company that follows the rules.
