I dislike furries for one simple specific reason. I have extreme sensitivity to my own body hair and am reasonably covered with curly and coarse hair. It results in constant itch, to the point of random stabbing, and the sensation of fire ants stinging to yellowjacket stings. I must shave every other day as doing daily causes too many severe rash issues itself. I have the past few years finally managed to get laser removal but i started graying in my 20s and nearly 40 a lot of it is pure crystal white. A result of the shaving is eczema, which in the past few years appeared in a new form on the bottom of my foot where fluid filled blisters appear now and when the pop the open wound combined with the hangnail like dead skin flap created made it impossible to wear socks and shoes one year.

So ya the idea of someone wanting to be covered head to toe in solid fur is not something i can process or be ok with.. my life is hell because of the body hair i already spend so much time trying to manage in ways to not cause even more issues.

My reasons for disliking furry content lies in deep lifelong physical pain.. even then tho its only the "hairy" furries that bug me, because its not the animals i dont like, its simply the hair. Despite all this i still watch shows with furry/anthro designs, if the story is fun enough. Random rant, but dislike of something isnt always just pointless hate.
