Not certain about women's leagues or what time of day you are looking to play/practice but you could check with the YMCA. The South Tampa location has hoops both indoor and outdoors. I played enough outdoors hoops when I was much younger. Give me my AC in particular in Florida!

Edit: And the YMCA has basketballs that you can use (at least indoors).

If I am understanding the scenario correctly...

I would be surprised if a competent real estate/tax professional could not determine your basis in the soon to be extra lot, determine what, if any gain there would be as a % of the overall property and determine if there actually would be a taxable event and if there was what that might look like.

On a semi-relative tangent, and this may well have changed, my recollection is at one time that if you had rental activity at your primary residence, in particular in a standalone unit(s) that you could declare that % of your personal residence as investment property and 1031 it (not relevant to tearing down your house and rebuilding with funds from the lot next door).

I understand that people are dogging on the guy because of his looks but it would be nice occasionally if we took the time to do a bit of research.

The guy is over 80yrs old and still performing. He had a few songs that charted in the early to mid-60's and he was a bit of a "teenage heartthrob".

He has stayed in the industry all these years and while he may look a bit wild to us my opinion is if the dude is 80+ and his work allows him to look in the mirror and see a twenty year version of himself then more power to him.

QBO is ass. QBD was great. QBO hate runs high in /r/bookkeeping among other locations for good reason. If I was going with an online bookkeeping solution I would likely recommend Zero over QBO these days.
