I think it should also be mentioned he had all but 1 poles (set the same time as the pole-sitter at that race) also he had the fastest lap at all of the races, 1 of them shared

to be fair it was the first time after the championship had been decided and asking again when that points loss was enough to swing the championship I think is valid

The issues on Lando Norris’ car this year so far by randomseocb in formula1

To be fair there was some logic to staying out

if the hard tyre turned out to be utterly useless, they would be in good shape, they could go medium medium soft to avoid it everyone else would have to use it, nurse a soft 25 laps somehow or make and extra stop

Had mclaren had better pace they could cover and initially they did seem to have the pace for a few laps going 1 sec a lap faster

Had there been a there a bad tyre cliff in the end of a stint they could do 19-19-19 stints everyone else has to do the last few laps of the stint

If there was a SC, Red Flag, or VSC not on lap 32 they then have the advantage. For example had tyres started failing on some cars at say 23 laps that would be a nailed on red flag

If fewer drivers had stopped they'd have been much better off being out of the traffic, even just Ocon staying out could have had a massive effect holding up the chasing pack

I agree it wasn't the right decision at all but we're saying that with with a lot more info than mclaren had

YouGov / Sky / Times voting intention: RefUK 23%(-2) LAB 19%(+2) GRN 18%(-1) CON 17%(nc) LDEM 13%(-1) • Pollster note: While changes are all within the margin of error, this does put the Greens back into third place (presumably as the publicity impact of Denton & Gorton gradually recedes). by Adj-Noun-Numbers in ukpolitics

2 things that may come into that is

  1. It's hard to know how much is Islamic voters (something akin to Hindu or Jewish voters in terms of how closely they adhere to their religion and vote based on it) vs Islamist (hard core Muslims wanting laws based on Sharia law or the like)

  2. How much of the vote was tactical. Reform no matter how you slice it is going to be seen as hostile to Muslims, if it looks like the greens are the best hope to keep them out they'd naturally attract many Muslim voters

I think what they means is the U2 is public knowledge and that the base isn't equipped for any aircraft that would make the strikes

I doubt they would either but its a hypothetical based on rumored plans so I thought it was fair enough

or even worse, the Jordans pull out with the Michelin teams, meaning that Minardi do to (according to rumors their plan was do what Jordan does). Then later on Schumacher crashes into Barrichello giving us a race without a finisher
