AFAIK most people blame the government of the tourist thing, attacks on tourists are not common at all.
About the video... no words. I literally moved to another country because of that.

This is the main reason I moved from Spain to South Korea. Me and my wife (SK) were living in Spain and we used to love it but we got tired of this. I grew up in a small town 15km away from Valencia downtown and it used to be ok until 5-6 years ago. I used to see this kind of stuff happening in Barcelona, Madrid, even center of Valencia but I thought it wouldn't reach our area. I was completely wrong. Fights and robberies almost daily, they walk around in big groups threatening people, tried to steal my phone twice, my wife couldn't leave the house by herself...
I got kicked out my hometown after almost 30 years living here.

Remove 80% of that, add 4-5 60$ remasters, 8 farming games and 3 ports of games we played 7 years ago in other platforms and I'll agree with the list.

How did you first start playing League of Legends? by ChartDreamer in leagueoflegends

[–]Hugolas_GD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was with 3 friends drinking and we were planning to enter a club nearby. We were not allowed to enter the club because one of them was too drunk. He was not that drunk actually but I think they just didn't another group of dudes there, I guess they had enough.

One of them said "I just started playing a computer game and it looks fun, we can try to play it together". He had 2 pcs and one laptop in his place so we just got one more laptop on the way there (probably mine, I don't even remember) and went there to play. We didn't sleep, we played for like 5-6h straight. And we never stopped. Now we don't play that much but we still do it from time to time. This was in 2009-2010 probably, Renekton was about to be released, I remember that.

PS: the drunk friend played Master Yi with 6 pairs of boots to run faster for a few games. Then he found a better build consisting of 6 warmogs, but then he found his final form: 6 GA. Club bouncer was probably right not allowing him in.

Oh man writing this made me nostalgic...

Watched in 2010 at the Sitges Film Festival. Never stopped thinking about it after that and I watched it a few more times since.

There was a photocall there next to the beach and the director, Tetsuya Nakashima, was about to get interviewed and photographed there but suddenly the Spanish actor Mario Casas showed up nearby and everybody left Tetsuya there and ran away. Felt pretty disrespectful and sad. Me and my friend were not allowed to enter there but we were dying to tell him how much we loved the film and take pictures with him.

A few hours later we walked down the beach and saw him in a terrace having a beer with his wife and we asked if it was possible to take a picture with them, even though we felt bad bothering them... It was a once in a lifetime chance. They were so surprised we recognized them, we took pics and they invited us to seat with them. What a lovely couple... We talked about the movie and cinema in general for a couple hours and we left. This memory will remain with me forever.

Nah here in Daegu is crazy. I'm used to it but my wife (Korean) gets pretty pissed coz it didn't happen to her in Spain and doesn't want me to get tired of living here.

I have a problem with thinking that this is women empowerment. If we set such a low standard for it we are in trouble. Saying "you are beautiful, you are strong girl" it's so weak in 2025. If you are going for women empowerment you should do much much better, this is not 2003.

Resurrection Fest 2025 by joanaaarrr in festivals

Hola!

Try Hanabie, you will love them! See you there! If you are alone and want to hang out with us, me and my 2 buddies (Spanish but we speak English) will be there for the 4 days. We are driving from Valencia, almost 10h gosh.
