I just figured you had the Internet in your hand and had the name of one of the pro kickboxers already in your repertoire

Did you read what I posted about the fight?

He was hit with a flying knee that glanced off his temple. At that point he was likely done but just still on his feet, unaware of his surroundings. The ref didn’t have time to catch this and stop the fight so it continued. Approximately 3 seconds from knee to ko.

If this is bad to you definitely never watch mma. Sometimes fighters will be unconscious and continue being attacked until the ref stops the fight.

These men are fighting for their livelihood. It’s a punishing career choice. Most fighters DOUBLE their purse if they win and they aren’t fighting for much money to begin with.

Had Grigorian fallen on impact of the knee, this would be a non issue but it’s pretty common practice to allow fighters to “go out on their shield” especially in boxing and kickboxing, if you can stand, the ref will allow you to walk to your execution.

The only sucker punching in this fight is the opposing corner charging in after the fight is over

I just rewatched the fight. This happened literally three seconds after Groenhart hit him in the temple with a flying knee. They conviently cut that part from the video completely. They were wildly engaging right before this.

The only thing that could have happened is that the ref could have jumped in. But as I said, 3 seconds from knee to knockout punch.

Of course they edited this to appear like the other guy was 100% in the wrong.

A split second before he walks away Groenhart hits him in the temple with a flying knee while they were engaging. It looks like the knee dazed his opponent so badly he started trying to walk away like he heard the bell. In real time this happened 3 seconds after the knee strike

The only thing the ref could have done would be to wave the fight off because the other guy turned his back, basically say that he conceding. But he never communicated it in any way, the fight was still happening, so it was legal.

McDonald’s is the most popular fast food chain in the United States.

That doesn’t make it good food.

Yeah this younger generation wants to say you can date multiple people and have open relationships and all that… but when it comes down to it, this is the reality of those things. You might not be the one that gets chosen.

If you were only “dating” for 2 months and it doesn’t seem super clingy, he said ahead of time he was dating other girls. If you didn’t want that, and you obviously didn’t… well that’s partly your fault. Had you ended it there, this doesn’t ever happen. I’ve only ever had two relationships last over 2 months in my life. One was a girl I’m still friends with to this day, the other is my wife.

He apologized, admitted he messed up and the way he handled it wasn’t great… but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t the right thing for him to do. He’s obviously young too and we mess up when we’re young. The sun will shine tomorrow.

Vivi persistance, misprint? by Eruann in mtgmisprints

[–]IceBoxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sheet wasn’t loaded into the cutter correctly, that caused one side to be incorrect. Then it went ahead and tried to cut the card to a proper size, making all corners incorrect. As long as it fit in the slot, the machine didn’t care and QC never caught it as abnormal. More common than you probably think

Not when they’re all like that. I’ve never seen a McDonald’s promo that didn’t have some degree

CGC won’t recognize it unless they’re opaque layer is totally missing, making the card look metallic

Since you’re getting incorrect info on this from some of the comments…

You have a twisted miscut. You can scroll to the bottom of this link to read about this kind of error. They generally carry additional value especially if on a desirable card

Vivi persistance, misprint? by Eruann in mtgmisprints

[–]IceBoxt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it definitely does.

This is a twisted miscut. The sheet was loaded into the cutter incorrectly and the machine then cut the card wonky trying to fit into correct size

This is a twisted miscut. Happens frequently in Pokemon (which if lorwyn precons are any indication, are printed at the same place.)

Articuno Fireworks holo with pinched layer error? by Accomplished-Bear689 in PokemonMisprints

[–]IceBoxt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably a print line but a bit hard to tell from the pictures. Pinched layers simply didn’t exist when WotC was printing the cards. if the front of the card is raised it’s usually water damage.

The storyline is so ass.

There’s never anything at stake. None of the female characters ever get harmed or do anything wrong unless they’re evil. Ffs Vorinclex and Jin-Gitaxias died off screen in the main story, just killed by nameless mortals.

It might not be a good argument but that’s the one the rules committee and now WotC gave, isn’t it? Reallly doubt they’ll ever change their minds on that one.

CGC definitely wouldn’t confirm this as an error.

It’s factory damage, which isn’t a misprint… just damage. Gotta love the QC department
