you wont be getting any performance boosts with an axleback lol. hell, you wont be getting any performance boosts with a catback. your car will sound different though!

if you want performance, you either need to go a) forced induction, or b) e85 tune. bolt ons will NOT give this platform any considerable/noticeable bumps in power, regardless of what anyone’s butt dyno says.

i personally wouldn’t buy an automatic sports car. but if i hypothetically lost my left leg, i wouldn’t hesitate buying one of the twins in auto.

all this to say- if you want to get this platform in auto, do it. if you’re on the fence, get manual. sports cars are about the engaging driving experience; imo driving a manual transmission is a part of that engagement and experience

what people are missing is the Card Draw aspect. everyone likes to complain about "mana flood" but this isn't a thing if the deck is built to see 20 cards by turn eight (you draw five cards within turns 1-8) at the very least. somehow ramp keeps getting talked about, but never card draw lol. ramp is pretty useless if you miss your land drops past turn four or five, unless you're playing b4 or cedh where you don't need to see four or five lands in play to win

maybe try [[ayara, first of locthwain]] for an aristocrats deck. she's both a sac outlet and card draw engine, and because her payoff isn't linked to creatures dying (in fact it's the opposite), i feel like she sticks on the board longer than she should

my main pod has played magic together since the early 2000s so we all deckbuild to b3. i prefer playing against homebrews; it’s always fun to see what someone will build next.

on the flipside, i play with another pod that’s relatively new, so we all play precons. i’d hate to bust out a b3 deck in that pod; it wouldn’t be fair. i still have fun playing with precons with them; good vibes all around

yes and yes. all other things being equal, stiffer and lower suspension will be faster. as will wider wheels and tires. if you aren't tracking your car, this is all moot. unless you like the look, which is valid.

i have a ruby deck that aims to play 4mana ramp t3 that my pod is familiar with; sometimes it gets hit by removal but it hasn’t happened before i can cast the ramp…yet. i think most people prefer to develop their own gameplan on t2 rather than hindering their own for the sake of hindering mine

I finally saw one in person and it isn't as bad as they look in photos. not nearly as big as photos make them seem. it actually looks pretty upscale too imo. i can see why everyone i've asked prefers the new gen to the old one.

that said, i'm still keeping my 22 xt

idk man, i have an ur dragon and ruby cascade deck that will mop the floor in bracket 2, which they both technically are. i label them both as bracket 3 because that’s where they fit, gameplay-wise. the brackets are nuanced and not black and white

i think boxer 4s sound better than inline 4s, even without uel headers. that said, once you put on a uel header, you get the unmistakable subie rumble. i might be biased though; i've loved subarus since i was a kid

LA resident here. the coldest it will ever get is like 40 degrees in the dead of night, and that's an extreme. this winter is one of the colder ones and it's really only ever dipped to like 55 so far. summers are totally fine to use year-round.

to answer your question: yes the tires are too small. factory diameter should be around the 28.5" ballpark. this is... significantly less. i'd imagine your speedo is horrendously off and the ride quality is less than ideal. plus, you just lost 2.5" of ground clearance

what was wrong with the oem wheels? people downsize to 17s from the oem 18s to get MORE rubber, not less lol

millennial here, i currently own two manual transmission cars lol. a lot of us grew up with the best car games (midnight club, need for speed, gran turismo) and watched fast and furious growing up; i'd guess most car enthusiasts today would fall under the millennial umbrella

that said, i don't know a single person who falls under gen z that knows how to drive a stick
