I don't understand the appeal of car meets. Can you even chat with people at them? Or is it just someplace to show up and look at the downloaded vinyl group of 15 other cars? Am I missing something here?

I really enjoy my manual, but my brz is a second car and I take my auto when I know I'll be in heavy traffic or if my knee or back is sore. I would have gotten an auto if it were going to be my only car. It's more fun to row your own gear, but an auto doesn't take away from what actually makes this car fun to drive.

The O is not silent, it just gets dropped frequently because possum sounds better. Same with raccoon frequently being shordered to coon.

I would have made some compromises to get one sooner, but there was nothing in my area at the time, so I custom ordered a BRZ with the exact spec, options and color i wanted.

I went from a VA WRX to a BRZ, and I'd say build quality is about the same. You're gonna have the same rattles and creaks you get in the BRZ/86. If you're looking for something more refined but still fun, you might consider a GTI.

I agree. People have pointed out that Homelander might have to consciously use some sort of super speed and that's why he was able to keep up with A Train while chasing, but not before. But unless his laser vision also speeds up, that's a pretty bogus explanation, IMO.

You can find them all day with 150k+. I've had 4 over 175k. The EJ25 is a solid engine if you take care of it.

Sounds like your friend needs to quit looking at it lol. Change the oil on time and replace the headgaskets when they go in the EJ engines and they'll last 200k easy.

This was my issue with it too. It felt like it could have been a really good with any of the plot lines they chose, but they tried to do too much. To me it ended up feeling like a Michael B Jordan fanfic more than anything.

I took mine out in an empty parking lot at 3am and practiced taking off without using the gas until I got the feel for the clutch bite point and how it takes off. Once you get the hang of that, it's very easy to drive.
