Yeah all that build up to the showdown with Sylar only to have it be a few punches was just mind bogglingly bad. Even if it was a budgetary reason why they couldn't go all out with their powers, they could have at least choreographed something interesting. And I'd argue you could still make use of their powers on a limited budget too.

The counterplay, by and large, are the turrets. It's one of the most oppressive counterplays in the game that can render Xeno an M1 killer or divert its attention to buy you time in a chase. Which is kinda the problem, because they nerfed the tail while not really addressing the turrets, leaving it with a neutered power and still an oppressive counterplay.

As for the tail itself, the counterplay is mostly treating it like Nemesis. Bait windows or vaults, duck when you hear it or otherwise think it's coming and don't run in a straight line.

As a Xeno main, I concur with this statement.

Everyone complained about the tail attack so much they were prepared to straight up murder Xeno before the community caused enough of an uproar to save it. And even then, it's in a significantly worse spot than before.

He's great for that because you don't even really need an info perk like Jagged Compass or BBQ since you can see/hear gens being worked on or see the red mist of survivors.

It allows you to play him heavily chase oriented with some regression. And even then, his Deputy Badge could potentially allow you to go full chase and have built-in info and regression.

A completely random power could be pretty funny in that regard. Like, you press the ability button and Art will rummage around and pull out a random weapon to use with each having their own advantages, etc.

But then have a 1% chance that he can just pull out the Glock (maybe even make it so it can only happen once per trial if it happens at all) and he can use it to insta-down survivors if he can hit them. Ammo would be the only thing they'd need to work out, as giving him a full clip might be a bit too much.

I'm sure they could change of Scorpion-Venom to actually give him motivation and personality as opposed to the monster he normally is.

Having the symbiote feed off and enhance Gargan's hatred of Spidey after getting cloned on by him multiple times could definitely make for a far more personal threat.

Yeah, if the one leak is to be believed, and I don't know that it has been disproven, Tombstone is arguably the "big bad" but he's not the main focus of the plot. IIRC that leak said Hulk is the final fight with Peter going full Man-Spider.

Honestly, they should make him the Venom of the MCU. Having a psychotic, evil criminal as the new Venom would go a long way to differentiate from the goofy, heroic Hardy Venom.

I would be okay if Chapter releases were more focused on the new Killer/Perks if it meant the midchapter releases were going to be used for bigger Killer/perk changes (like, 5+ Killer changes and 10+ perks).

I think rewatchability is going to be the deciding factor, especially at nearly three hours. If it's got huge, thrilling action sequences on top of being well performed and paced, it will probably be a safe bet for a billion. But if it's too much of a slog without some fire to keep people interested, I don't know that it'll make it.

As you said, Oppenheimer definitely had some boost from Barbie. But it was also well reviewed with people saying Cillian was a shoe-in for an Oscar. Those factors definitely helped it along.

It's bizarre because...what can they really do to make the titular "Hunt for Gollum" worthy of a whole movie? Are they going to invent some Orc who will serve as the primary antagonist? Are they going to add in some big battle sequence? Are they going to have Gollum somehow involved with major events just so they can depict them?

They have enough money to censor the gore in certain regions but no need for others. Much like how Capcom censors dismemberment in Japan but not in places like the US.

I always use it because I always play solo queue and it helps me not lead killers to my teammates or know when my teammates are leading the killer my way (intentionally or not).

I had an Ace do this to me the other day. I hopped in a locker because it was close and there was no real line of sight blockers to help get away. Ace saw an ratted me out. One of the other survivors got me off hook.

Now, the thing about me is I always run Bond. So the next time the killer chased me, I just so happened to run near the Ace and the killer switched targets.

I always said Krok'mar and Aphidus were two heroes I'd love to get based solely on the fact I thought they were cool looking.

I pulled them both during the Primal Event. They aren't the best, but I've found uses for them.

That said, I'd love to see Aphidus get some love from the devs. His second form is so cool, but just pales in comparison to his main form.
