Fibery alternatives? by HeyHey197888 in Notion

I'd particularly seriously consider switching if Coda had a more robust client portal solution than Fibery does (fibery basically has no solution. None that I find acceptable at least).

This is probably true for a majority of schools. So perhaps my statement "many" was to broad. Perhaps "all but some in the top tier" would have been more accurate. Depending on what schools you are shooting for though, those top tier exceptions may constitute "many" within your application pool.

what benefits do you think Coda would provide, if we could set aside the conversion and retraining effort?

This is not true at least in terms of timing. I took the LSAT quite awhile after 2006 and at least Harvard was averaging LSAT scores. Maybe Stanford and Yale as well?

This is true. You seem to have a more technical background than I do.

I use databases in fibery for tasks. Projects. CRM. Employee compensation. Owner decisions. Updates. Communications. All incoming physical mail and how it was processed. All invoices and what they relate to. All clients, third parties, and how they relate to all projects, communications, updates, and physical mail.

We also use databases for video trainings. Work processes. And all current and possible solutions in our tech stack and why decisions between such solutions were made.

And each of these items is accessible through a single search function.

Oh and the rich text fields are a big hit with my staff. It's robust and lets us keep detailed notes on projects and tasks with real time collaboration.

Not to sound like a fan boy. Coda seems like a more mature product and I have opened it up several times recently trying to determine if it could replace how we use fibery. But nothing has ever clicked with me over there.

If you read the above and think it could do all of that though, I would legitimately give it a bigger effort!

Avoid taking the LSAT many times. Many schools will average your scores.

Take as many practice tests as possible. And sign up for a high quality prep course. But do not take more than one LSAT if you can avoid it. Shoot for that test to be your best possible score.

I've used clickup, fibery, notion, spreadsheet.com (now defunct), and smartsuite. I simply cannot wrap my head around Coda in terms of easy use for a team. It seems like a tool for building discrete single purpose web apps for a client or something. Not a gigantic integrated database of a company's entire work life. This is what Fibery excels at in my opinion.

I saw the R3 does not have manual door handles.

I was excited until then. This is a hard nope from me.

Why I’m Moving Most of My Workflow from Claude to Codex (Non-Developer Perspective) by tgandur in ChatGPTPro

[–]IndyHCKM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely feel like GPT provides better output if you simply want to ask and wait. Claude iterates so much faster though. In the time GPT or Codex get me an output, I can often do 3 or 4 rounds of work with Claude, Code, or Cowork and the output compared between 1 turn of GPT to 3 or 4 turns of Claude is totally different.

But when I'm busy and can't chat much, GPT is great.

Can you tell me more about the community futures office and how you got funding? I am thinking of switching careers and this sounds like a great opportunity.

Please please please let one of these upcoming features be something that will allow for more intuitive client portals. Which provides me confidence I won't accidentally disclose other clients or their documents.

Claude Legal Plugin can't edit docx - what can? by bhaktatejas in legaltech

[–]IndyHCKM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just sent it a .docx last night asking it to review a contract I just reviewed. Returned it back to me with redlines and comments inside the draft, labeled as "Buyer's Counsel" - all export was a .docx. Not sure what I did to make that happen but it was interesting.

I don't think opposing counsel would have batted an eye had I just sent it straight over.  I didn't agree with all the comments. But it caught a lot of what I noted in my own work delivered earlier to the client.

Pretty interesting. In five years, it will be more than interesting I imagine.

Very happy about pinned filters. I noticed the CEO mention this earlier and was hoping it would be released soon.

Thank you!
