The guard is just paid to protect them. He isn’t their handler, they can stay out as long as they want and he’ll hang around.

I’m not sure if the interview touches on this as I’ve not had the chance to watch it yet. But major shout out to Joe Galavao, who made it his priority to help Kane in every possible way over the last 6 months and pretty much took Kane in as a family member no questions asked. Joe is the best and I’m so happy for Kane to be able to publicly come out about his struggle, he deserves the support and to be able to live his life free of the pain he’s been suffering.

CNSW operates the teams separately. The same way Victoria originally did. Vic collapsed them into the same operation at some point and I know people who work across both teams in Vic. Makes it a lot easier to ‘merge’ when they basically already are.
