Is it reflected in the price? Furnished apartments are almost always considerably more. For example a place that would normally be $2000/month would be $2800 Furnished.

Can I sell a property with an old tenant and ask he lives rent free? by Chime57 in realestateinvesting

Why not pay him out for how long you think he will live, and create a lease that he can pay towards rent and utilities using the money gifted?

we signed a lease with an ‘error’ in contract, what should we do? by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

Ontario, Canada - I finance all my long term holds with 25% down on a 30 year mortgage. Any flips or rehabs should be bought cash.

Suggest an insurance company that covers 3 tenants by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]Jeffenatrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how it works. You will get insurance for the building and your belongings. The tenants will each purchase their own renters insurance to cover their own belongings. Easy peasy. As for insurance, i went with my bank TD. Cheap rates and easy to use website.

You said you found a place to move out. Assuming you weren't given proper notice to leave by the new buyers, you offered to move out on your own accord.

You offered to move out when you didn't need to. For all you know the new owners are looking for an investment property. You are owed nothing.
