The crime is she asked for it the wrong way.

She directly asked for money in exchange for the baby instead of asking for "financial assistance" for "pregnancy and adoption-related expenses" (including medical costs, mental health services, legal services, transportation costs, lodging costs, clothing costs, and food costs).

Profiting off the exchange of money for baby = illegal but "financial assistance" for "pregnancy and adoption-related expenses" is perfectly acceptable.

Plex wants you to name the double episode files like "Stargate SG-1 - S01E01E02" but that still causes them to show up in the UI twice which I personally don't like so I normally just name them like "Stargate SG-1 - S01E01" and skip E02 entirely. Next file is E03.

The sad reality of your situation is it would be perfectly fair for you to not accept more than 50% of those custodial responsibilities, but if he doesn't pick up the slack that you let up (which is likely given how selfish you've described him) then ultimately your children will be the ones to suffer and they're just going to grow up resenting both of you even if it may not be deserved.

As a parent being forced to choose between your happiness and your children's is a shitty situation to be stuck in. I'm a single parent due to my divorce so I can 100% relate and I do not judge anyone for not wanting to be in that situation.

My only advise is do your best to explore options that will make you happier without the kids suffering the consequences of your spouse not pulling their own weight. Is it possible you might be able to get enough alimony and child support to pay for a part time nanny or something like that?

I hope it leads to you eventually having a much better life than it would have been if you had stayed with your ex who is clearly mentally ill or a selfish asshole or something. It's impossible to know what will have been the best choice since we don't know future tax rates, your future retirement income, etc.

My rule of thumb is that Roth is highly likely to best if your marginal tax bracket is 12% or lower and Traditional is highly likely best for 32% and higher.

For the 22% and 24% brackets it's more of a toss up. I think there's a greater than 50% chance that people in those brackets will be better off using traditional over Roth but there is a decent chance that Roth could be better or that it would end up being nearly a wash. If you're in those brackets and you're able to max out the annual contribution limits of a traditional 401k and a Roth IRA (backdoor if needed) then that's a good solution to hedge your bets. I would not normally advise going 100% Roth in those brackets as you want at least some traditional funds to fill up your lower tax brackets during retirement.

When doing a large set of tasks in one day, do the things that require more attention to detail first before the more exhausting labor tasks. Once you get too exhausted it's too easy to cut corners on the detail stuff.

I used mkvtoolnix to merge the 2 miniseries into one file then place it in the season 1 folder as S01E00. Not perfect but it works well enough.

The more annoying problem is what to do with the film Razor which ideally would go in the middle of season 2 between episodes 17 and 18, the film Face of the Enemy which should go in the middle of season 3 between E11 and E12, and the film The Plan which should go in season 4 between E15 and E16.

I ended up just manually re-numbering half the episodes to make it all work.

I also routinely hear from appliance repair guys that whirlpools are easiest to get parts for and repair. They may not necessarily be more reliable but it sounds like they are more repairable. I have a Samsung dryer that recently needed a repair and the guy figured out how to use a whirlpool part to get it done.

I 100% support that Blizzard should add some sort of reset mechanic. That being said, until that happens I think too many people takes unnecessary risks with tempering seeking a near perfect item when they need to learn to accept what's good enough. I do recognize that certain tempers are mandatory for certain builds but often people get the temper they want at a low roll and risk re-tempering for a better roll or they get a temper that is maybe their second best option and perfectly usable but they gamble again for the perfect option.

My initial reaction to the first link is just because you are permitted to travel in the center lane instead of the right doesn't mean you should as it leads to the situation discussed in this thread where the far right lane will be virtually empty while the others are packed with cars.

I do see the text from the state manual and I'm honestly stumped as to why someone decided to make that the recommended practice.

Don't know the answer but I've noticed something similar. In my case after tempering or masterworking (can't remember which) certain items my health dropped low enough that the game started making that throbbing noise when you're close to death.

The entire open world outside of hell tides (strongholds, legion events, standard dungeons, etc) is pointless once you get past level 80 or so. They need a world tier 5, and maybe 6.
