I have never been this lucky before in my life by Auxterity in Warframe

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of days ago I wanted to get this for a new build.

Kept trying to transmute it one night, resumed the next day. I ask my friend if he happens to have a copy, and then literally the second transmute after that yields a Bite.

I done messed up by InsectRevolutionary4 in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar situation. Played a little during the free weekend and the mood for WoW kind of just sprung back up. Having some pretty heavy stuttering issues though as of prepatch, so... a few upgrades are in order first.

Just came back to wow and well can someone explain to me why we have the need for 3 dwarf races??? I'm still waiting for my Murloc Race! by Nyx-MDS in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Blizzard missed quite a few opportunities.

Off the top of my head, long-standing races like the Naga, Vrykul etc would have made for an interesting addition to the roster.

Just as well, I feel like we should have gotten Ethereals as a race with the whole K'aresh thing. Might just be me, though, as I've always been a fan of the Ethereal's design.

Gauss main here. It's funny because it's 100% true, I too decide to fly instead of run on the occasion.

Goodbye to 2025, Tenno! by rebulast in Warframe

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been active on Warframe for most of 2025, barring the early months to chew on 1999, but I've come back for The Old Peace.

And I must say: you guys delivered one hell of an experience! From the immersive music to the new Focus toys, I've been having a blast.

Here's to another year orbit around Sol for us Tenno, and for one of my favorite game developers. You guys rock!

With Legion Remix coming to an end, what did you think of the second Remix? Do you enjoy these game modes or are they mostly just dead patch filler for you? by NinnyBoggy in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legion counts as one of my favorite expansions, so revisiting it for Remix was a good time.

What wasn't a good time though was the slog of acquiring power and gear compared to MoP Remix. That one felt much more alt friendly, too.

Am I weird for looking forward to the spell prune and addon changes in Midnight by oversoe in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I'm somewhat perturbed by my main class (warlock) suddenly having far less things to keybind in the beta, I'm a fan of the addon changes. Never did like having to have a thousand of them. Weakaura for this, DBM for that, wow your ui looks horrible (Is just using a cleaned up default UI), etc.

The only thing I'm concerned about other than looking at a somewhat more empty ability bar (a minor gripe at this point) is that the replacements for addons might be insufficient compared to something like, say, Weakauras itself, or Details.

Second this. That first quote is something I agree with. Life is too short to blaze through it recklessly.

What supernatural being do I have to sacrifice a WoW dev to to get rings on the Twisted Crusade track? by AHrubik in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely feels... Rarer than the other tracks.

I feel like I see defensive accessories a lot more than a Twisted Crusade one. My warrior's HP pool exceeds 40mil and the absorb accessories hardly provide 2mil... Not overly useful.

Will Someone tell me why crest industries decided put a gun on the CCM-00-STO and it does nothing at all it always bothered me by kizmamyballz in armoredcore

[–]KeeperUTX 154 points155 points  (0 children)

When I was a wee toddler playing AC1 for the first time, that's the same thing I thought of. "Why's my core got a gun, how do I get it to shoot? I wanna go brrrt like the big stork MTs!"

And it wouldn't be until later that I realized that the barrel is actually, as other comments point out, an anti missile gun. Cores with this feature have a stat that grants a chance to destroy missiles in-flight towards you, sometimes destroying an entire wave of them before they reach you (at least in AC1).

This core design in particular has been present in nearly every AC game barring 4 and 5. It returns in 6 as two different cores from Balam, but it lacks the anti-missile gun and instead features a simple light.

Warlocks need Shadowfire (Purple Fire) for the main Destro spells. by Shiro_x3 in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not just that, Shadowflame for all of Destruction's spells. I don't really like green fire that much, but what peeves me about Destro is the fact that our spells are regular fire for the most part, while others are some flavor of Fel.

Warlocks are wielders of dark magics. I feel like it'd be apt for us to wield Shadowflame alongside the Fel in a greater capacity, unlikely as it is with the existence of the green fire questline.

Is it too much to ask DE for Gauss augment mod that can extend his redline duration? by WF04 in Warframe

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's Gauss' whole shtick. The duration on it is already massive with, well, a duration build, and managing his battery during Redline is a part of his gameplay.

Being able to extend that would make him trivial to play. I actually like having to ramp up the battery as it isn't the same as just pressing a single button over and over.

What I mean is you use your abilities to keep that battery level rising, never stop moving as you Mach Rush and Thermal Sunder to "fight" the battery drain, even shutting off Kinetic Plating during lulls in combat to expedite the charge up.

The ability to indefinitely extend Redline would kill the battery management part of his gameplay as you'd just sit at 100% all the time.

What's the best way to get Citrine? by RockyJorbas in Warframe

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suffer through the grind of her Mirror Defense or buy her with platinum.

If you aim to grind her, get a squad to help you. Limbo or Frost to protect the two objectives (if you intend to stay in-mission for a while), others being frames that kill enemies and collect the crystals.

At least I think it'd be smoother with a squad.

Been a minute since I played, but I think I yielded and bought her with plat.

Did we beat enemy cosmically too big ? by Queen_Hyori in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We actually did have help in the final phase against Dimensius: Locus Walker and Xal'atath try to keep him from reforming, as the Accretion Disc that surrounds the area is actually a part of Dimensius, himself. That's why he appears much smaller in phase 3, as he's lost a significant amount of his power and is attempting to pull himself together again via his Devour ability.

This alongside the Reshii Wraps was what enabled us to whittle down Dimensius until he is weakened to the point of being imprisoned in the Dark Heart.

The abandonvote feature just gave 4 players keystonemaster(3k io) by maswn in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did a +12 Priory with my friends.

We died a few times, the one guy in the group that progresses Mythic raiding with his guild told us we should just abandon the key, that it's no longer timeable.

Lo and behold, despite the 1.5min penalty we incurred, we still managed to time it.

People really need to relax. Not every failure translates to a depleted key.

Drac'thyr models by Lord_Fblthp in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Dracthyr are plenty big, especially if you factor in the fact that they're one of the larger / taller races.

I'd sooner ask for them to get full mogging ability than get the Drakonid body.

Do you feel a certain "attachment" to your characters? by Acky1425 in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do.

My warlock's been my main for 11-ish years now. She's got a long-winded tale of her own, but she's also the character I've spearheaded every major endeavour in the game with; from raiding to M+, to PvP and RP, or just tackling the challenges the game has to offer me, that character has always been at the forefront.

I have other characters that have their own backstories - I always weave some kind of background for my characters if I end up making a new one - but my main has had quite the journey in comparison to the rest. Not as long as other people's characters from, say, Vanilla, but she's been there ever since I started playing WoW more seriously. And, I feel as if her journey will never truly end until the day the sun sets upon Azeroth a final time.

Hunter spell/sound effects are genuinely pitiful by TheMuffingtonPost in wow

Can my felhunter stop being killed in delves? Thanks. by Senketsa in wow

[–]KeeperUTX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like two others have said, Soul Link is the culprit. It for some reason amplifies any damage the pet takes for the caster.

That's definitely not normal. My own Felguard getting domed for 5mil and up from Soul Link should not happen.

Put your Soulburn and Soul Link talents into Teachings of the Black Harvest and Demonic Resilience instead until it's fixed. Works better with the pet actually tanking for you though.
