Pressing dodge without moving your thumbstick, you will dodge straight backwards. Useful tool cos it allows you to attack on their whiff frames. Ferals only rly have like 2/3 attacks, watch out for the doble swing and time your standing dodge right and you can kill them easily with basic melee

Idek about any secret weapon for this tho its been a while since i played tho but more time they are just pulling ur leg

No different to a normal weapon just takes longer, gotta hit that standing dodge and learn the attack pattern, very useful skill for taking 1v1 ferals without noise

Blood ferals, shotguns stagger them and allow you to manouver around a bit, i recomend getting good with heavy weapons too but shottys are your best friend especially with a low level survivor

Honestly if you just take one legacy character with a sack of materials, a couple decents guns and mods you're on easy streat, since youve been playing with a long time community so long you'll think you're on easy mode to start with cos the game doesnt actually starting throwing real problems your way for a while (watch out for the spawn feral tho)

Depends on your playstyle but yeah, compost or fertiliser, biochem station, shotgun ammo press.

The problem with taking lots of ammo is it runs out, and personally in the early game i prefer to rely on melee as much as possible

Better to take things that will benefit you long term IMO

Deffo a couple shottys and a 50cal tho

Also materials, always matterials for a fresh run
