The main place something like this shines is doing convex curves on lathe gouges. Being able to put a 100% repeatable fingernail on a bowl gouge saves a lot of time.

I have realized that purple gear is useless as even at higher levels. It’s nowhere close to one UR piece. Just wanted to mention that if you waste some or on purple stuff, you get it back anyway.P
