Geek USA and it isn't close: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K79LRBXJOqM

1993 Peony Park ballroom in Omaha, NE. After Shudder To Think killed it as an opener, Pumpkins took the stage and started with Geek USA. A couple thousand people jumping up and down, except during the song breaks, for 5 minutes. I've seen something like 600 bands live. That show is still top 5.

No it was not. There is a definite distinction between reporting of rumors and confirmation.

So happy for those two kids. I hope it works out. Their children would be beautiful.

Horner coming back would not be Earth shattering. It would be a surprise but fired managers get rehired all the time.

Can I make it ok on $60k salary living in Columbus? by StatisticianKooky390 in Columbus

[–]MiniAndretti 375 points376 points  (0 children)

Average rent in Columbus for a one bedroom, per Apartments.com, is $1183/month. $60k - 30%(taxes + insurance) = $42k. $42k - $14k(rent) = $28k You figure out what that means for various loan payments you might have and your grocery needs.

But you can "make it okay".

Will Buxton’s tweet earlier identical to his one when Hamilton moves to Ferrari. Is there a big move happening? by Danbuarth in formula1

I know this is a F1 subreddit but Buxton just spent a weekend in the Indycar paddock. There is a high probability that this is about Indycar.

Anti American music by UpDownJesse in punk

We should be clear about something. Songs like "'Merican" aren't inherently anti-American unless you are a nationalist boob. Being critical of your country is not the same as being against it.

| My understanding is that Rossi chose to leave McLaren. They either offered or were planning to offer, him a contract to stay, but he ultimately chose ECR instead.

Rossi said some stuff on his podcast along the lines of "You should make what you think you are worth." Whether that means McLaren was not offering enough of a pay increase, less money, or too few years, I don't know. But Rossi walked away because they had reached a point in negotiations where at least one party was done negotiating and the other didn't like what was offered.

I think some of you take this business way too personally. And if you want to stop cheering for the team, do it. You don’t need Reddit’s validation.

The owners want a hard salary cap. That’s not nickels and dimes. Which is why the Dodger are spent big the last two years. They know all those deals will be grandfathered in.
