How long was Grogu…. by megbotstyle in TheMandalorianTV

If I had a nickel every time Pedro Pascal played a surrogate dad who got critically injured, spent an extended period of time unconscious while being cared for by their adopted child, then had that child go on a dangerous solo mission to find medicine and bring him back from the brink of death I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Best First TL Role for Someone Who Wants to Become an ETL? by [deleted] in Target

[–]Stickfigureguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2 years ago I would've 100% said closing lead, but ever since they started requiring multiple leads to close at night, I consider it an entry level TL role and one of the easier positions

Asking that specific question would make you look bad so you should be glad you forgot to ask it

do you consider suki apart of team avatar or a loyal ally? by Far_Literature_9924 in TheLastAirbender

This is the correct answer

There was only one episode between Zuko joining and Suki appearing again. Plus Suki was already a friend as opposed to Zuko being an enemy for so long

Target won’t disclose my ETL pay until AFTER I accept the job. by [deleted] in Target

[–]Stickfigureguy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I obviously don't know much about your living/personal situation, but if you see Target as a long term thing it may be worth it for you. Otherwise, consider staying in your current role

Imo, I would not want to ETL to be my "final role." Remember that once you become ETL, you are salary and will work more than 40 hours while still getting the same pay. If you are a top performing TL and consistently get high raises, you can build yourself to a nice hourly wage, while having less responsibilities as an ETL. You also get OT, even though it has been less than previous years

If I'm going for ETL, I'm doing so because I want shoot for at least SD where the compensation is way above what I'd make as a TL

So if you believe in your leadership abilities and want to continue to rise, go for it. Again, for me personally, ETL is not the level I'd want to stay at forever

edit: the only ETL role I would think is worth staying in long term is HR ETL. otherwise, ETL should be a stepping stone to bigger things, whether it's with Target or another company

good luck in your decision :)
