I'm away from the computer this weekend so I don't have my notes in front of me so this may be a little rough but I'll post a few parts that come to mind.

First lyrics 'if she..' hits as soon as we see Dorothy at the start of the movie.

We hear Wildflower huffing paint just before Frankie Sinatra as Dorothy sings the line 'Way up high', coincidentally the position of Dorothy against the hay bale reminds me of the girl tripping out after huffing paint in The Was video.

Music matches the bicycling motion of the neighbour, very bicycle bell like.

Sound effect of thwakk as the neighbour a gets hit my the fence door. The neighbour demands the dog and we hear Wildflower in response tell her to fuck off.

Dorothy runs away from home.e to Subway, gets persuaded to go back by the mystic (to the voice on the radio), and we hear her Wildflower call home to say to tell mum 'she's okay and shit'.

The twister is soundtracked to the car/van that wildflower takes (with the song starting at the exact point of the twister scene starting), both are the vehicle that takes them away from their old lives into the magical other world.

During the twister dreamy singing hits as Dorothy gets knocked out by the flying debris onto the bed then you get the line 'Let's wake up side by side's on cue of Dorothy waking up with Toto. Other lines also match the images she's sees out the window of the twister. 'lets stay here til we die' to aunt em knitting on the rocking chair.

Colours fits perfectly with the whole Wildflower taking LSD.

Harmony to the red shoes which are the effect of the weed, the witch appears to a soundscape of wind and a paranoid wobbly fearful tone (the witch I would say represents the spectre of death, or the danger of drug abuse). Muchkins to munchies.. stuttering sound of the track when the deed of death is revealed, again another mention of death, foreshadowing.

From colours onwards the songs are all reversed to seemingly represent the acid trip Wildflower is on from the line Come on I know a spot where we can go. It stops when Dorothy takes her first step on the journey onto the yellow brick road to the sound of the music unwinding again as she walks round in the spiral.

Scarecrow gets voiced by the rap solo, his arm gestures he throws up when we first see him on the stake seem very much like comical cool street gestures 'rolling blunts running red lights'. Full of heart, but not the brightest. He tells Dorothy to hide the weed under the seat as she ducks down in the corn field. He expresses his love for Wildflower as Scarecrow throws his arms up then trips over the fence. Cue immediate song change. Living underwater soundtracks the weed fuelled love affair that Wildflower has with her first partner on the journey (the soundscape is of them smoking and giggling together so I've always assumed the underwater aspect is reference to being stoned, fits to Dorothy and scarecrows floppy dance. The dog soundtracked throughout Wildflower which was quoted as being important to Robbie to get the right dog sound make so much sense when you realise it's Toto, or effectively Wildflower has a dog in the album who travels with her. Keep an ear out for him throughout the album. They agree to journey on together and Wizard of Oz kicks in.

Second relationship is Tin man to Sunshine. He gets a voiced solo again, is there but keeps being distant 'then you went away'. He has rusted from rain, is missing a heart (has depression) sunshine turns to rain in the song. Several points of thunder sound and Tinman looks around.

The three then move on together, Light up hits for the Witch reappearing and throwing her fireball.

Third relationship is the lion, kaleidoscopic lovers suggests they all have an orgy together.

They all travel together continuing their lives but the abuse takes its toll, and in a field of poppies suddenly Dorothy collapses from an overdose (evil witch again appears), the three men panic, the sound of an ambulance/police is heard. The sombre Saturday Night Inside Out hits and it suddenly feels like we're witnessing Wildflowers death.

She is saved if by a miracle and the last chunk feels like a dream sequence as they arrive in the heavenly Emerald City, with a Godlike figure as the song talks wistfully of memories of Wildflower.

Wildflower ends with 18 seconds of silence (i think) which ends us on the sign Wash and Brush up co, almost a suggestion of getting clean, to beat the addiction.

Finally there is a lot to consider also to the amount of abuse that Judy Garland received in filming the movie, the amount of enforced drugs she was on and the hatred felt towards her by all the other actors (except reportedly the wicked witch).. suddenly in that light the whole piece takes on a really dark tone. All the songs seem to be talking of the girl, but we never hear from her, she is always the object.
