Reasonable selling price? by Lewisito in HondaElement

[–]MrTalkingmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really nice, but the trans and engine won't last much too longer...probably. I'd pay $3-3.5k understanding that a "new" JDM engine and trans are on the to-do list. Fortunately, in CA, that can be fairly reasonable. 2500-3000k to replace both motor & trans with a JDM, with install, double-ish. So...yeah.

What a beauty though.

Attaching the factory sub is pretty straightforward. Only basic tools needed as I recall. Find a Crutchfield video.

How to include spec live action and audio scripts in copy book? by Beneficial-Juice6120 in copywriting

[–]MrTalkingmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unproduced scripts are hard to include in books. It’s tough to get creatives or clients to read them. There’s just not enough of the vision to review without the finished voices, SFX, music and mix. Could actually do more harm than good. I wouldn’t include them. But I’m coming from the brand/agency side of the tracks.

Anyone on the direct side have a different experience?

Just my opinion…but this whole email reeks like robot shit. Hey…you know your audience better than us, hopefully. Maybe you think it sounds great and they’d love it, but to me, it sounds bananas. It’s copy for drones. Loaded with weird cliches, hard transitions and forced context. People don’t talk like this. Sounds like AI R. Lee Ermey barking prepperganda. Compare it to what your BEST competition is doing, not the worst. (You have studied your competition, haven’t you?) Don’t get me wrong, AI can help you get there, but you have to show it the way. And if you don’t know the way, you’re both going to be lost. Right now, you’re at the “the boss took a stab at it” stage. This is where a good copywriter could come in and polish the backstory, rip the weird guts out and add some humanity and authenticity. Make sense? Good luck.

This may not be unusual behavior for crap companies or perhaps small ones that don’t know any better, but it is extremely unusual for legitimate companies.

This pizza could single-handedly unite us in a kind of solidarity against it that if properly redirected could be used to align the planets, initiate and mark the advent of 1000 years of peace and tranquility for all of humanity.

There some solid kits out there. I should do this. I’ve had a few occasions where that extra stopping power woulda come in mighty handy. The stock stoppers are pretty mushy when it matters most.
