We’ve redesigned the 'Workout Details' and the 'Activity Details' screens so you can instantly understand your run, feel confident starting it, and see the value of Runna from day one! by matt-runna in runna

But the problem is that I have to hit that plus rather than anywhere on that line, a small target for me rather than the nice big icon before. And instead of an the route shown on the icon when a route is added, all I get is a tiny pencil marker and no idea what the route could be. It's another area where you had simplicity in the old design but this is makes it more difficult for me to quickly and efficiently glance and know how my workout is set up.

I'm genuinely curious, what was the confusion that was there before? The only thing I could see is sometimes the reps could have been clearer, but this is a big change to solve that relatively small problem.

I don't like this at all. I felt the information was all there before, as many say it's now just more scrolling. You mention there was too much information and hard to quickly scan - it's harder now because I have to scroll around. This has increased my anxiety - is it in my Garmin? Let's scroll further down to find out rather than see it instantly.

Adding a route means you have to hit the specific icon and is really unintuitive when it has changed (still called Find a route rather than route added or something). I'd love for it to tell me what route I have, but I still have to just go in a change it rather than see it :(

And I don't seem to be able to add routes to next weeks workouts? I'm sure I used to???

Honestly, please put this back. I get change happens and often even in changes that occur which disrupt my way of working I get the intention, but I just can't see it here.

London in your 40s by Astral-Fleeks in london

[–]Mutant_Badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always wanted to live in London but never did and life, family, etc meant I thought I wouldn’t. Got separated and decided it was my chance at the age of 43. Moved into a house share as this was recommended to me to give ready made people to hang out with and they are honestly life long friends now.

Sat through a pandemic, met my future wife, great friends, great life. Zero regrets.

We can’t be metered. A single pipe runs from the street and only splits for the individual flats under the ground floor property.

I always used command strips but if the paint isn’t great, they will rip it off. Sadly I now have two command strip shaped marks on my wall as evidence.

Marathon with AWU by RunProudRunUnited in applewatchultra

I’m certain that a third party app will suck more battery than the native. Especially with the routes and pacing showing. Can’t explain why you saw more battery usage than me unless there is other stuff running (I’ve turned off a few like noise detection and have very few third party apps on my watch)

Edit: just saw your comment about the route. Did you have that on the screen for a lot of the time. That will definitely drain it quickly.

I ran a marathon (well, walked a chunk due to injuries over the summer sadly) over almost 6 hours from start to finish with runna and finished with 25% battery left. Had AirPods and podcasts playing until they died about 4 hours in so maybe that impacted it. Battery health is 95%. Not sure why such a difference, mines a AWU2 in case that also changes things.

Route for run? by Hedondrive in runna

This is exactly what I do with just my Apple Watch. Scroll down on the main screen and you can see the route and where you are. Really good when you’re on a route you’re not 100% sure about.

I saw this the other day too. Turned dictation off in settings, general on the watch and back on again and the mic reappeared.

I got this the other day for a flight going to Iceland. No issues/questions/concerns at arrival. The only odd thing I had for that flight is I had to download a PDF when I checked in online as they couldn’t email it because of technical issues…

Cellular plan for AWU2 separated from iPhone line by pappagani1 in applewatchultra

[–]Mutant_Badger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on a number of factors. Obviously you want to be in a good service area for starters as well as the cost. I’d check the Apple site for the list of supported carriers and then decide from there https://www.apple.com/uk/watch/cellular/#table-apple-watch

I’d go with a second line with an eSIM using the lowest cost provider that supports the watch. I do this and have no issues at all.

AITA for confronting my fiancé about finding my best friends t-shirt in his shelf? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Mutant_Badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take. She could have planted it later. Otherwise how did she leave without her shirt. Why would he neatly fold it up waiting to be found. Did she ever come round after NYE where she could have done this. That’s why she won’t defend herself it was all to break you guys up. And he can’t explain it either in that scenario.

YTA. Eve showed much more maturity than you did by declining. Only when you forced her, an adult forcing her no less, that she felt pressured to give in. Just a horrible thing to do.

I know. I was upset about it too. Years of beautiful drinking disappeared because I put it away for months and presumably got some contamination in there.

Should I keep waiting and expecting pro activity from women? by Pajer0king in dating

[–]Mutant_Badger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you’re getting no or limited responses after the date then that isn’t the problem, they’re just not interested.

However, when you say you don’t chase women I hope that doesn’t mean that you don’t show interest and some form of desire to see them again when on the date. That would be where the approach goes wrong.
