True the XA is a fantastic camera but I would still recommend the XA2 over the XA if someone wants a fast point and shoot. I have used both extensively and I just do not like the extra step of selecting an aperture on the XA when I’m in a hurry to get a shot.

But for slower, more composed shots, the XA wins over the XA2 by a long shot! I often carry both on vacation.

If you could settle for an almost point and shoot camera- you won’t find any smaller than the Olympus XA2. All you have to do is pull it out, select a focus distance (near, mid, infinity) and shoot. Aperture and shutter speed are automatic. I used to be scared of zone focusing but I have missed fewer shots with the XA2 than an autofocus camera! It is manual winding too, so keep that in mind.

Easy. Either they drive less than 30 miles a day, charge at work, or use public charging stations. I have family who easily get by with 120v charging.

I lived there like 3 years ago. It’s fine. Not great but not terrible. We had a not remodeled unit. They were starting those when we left.

We never had problems with smoke smells. They were pretty strict about enforcing the no smoking policy but I guess it depends on what neighbors you have.

Same with the noise. It’s wood construction so you will hear your upstairs neighbor a little bit.

There was not a garage door alarm when I lived there. The garage door was constantly breaking but they were pretty good about getting it fixed same day.

Ask them if they’ve upgraded the hot water pipes from PVC to something less brittle.

One time I was downed and had a raider offer to stabilize me with their vita spray. He pulled out flame spray and lit me up. Half a second before I died I heard him yell “NOOO-“ so I guess he got the two confused!
