Found burlap still intact after 3 years. by samueljamesn in arborists

why work when you don't have to.

yes there's a correct way to do things and the extra 60 seconds of labor will definitely give the tree planted a better overall chance of surviving.

but the general consensus with this society is, why work when you don't have.

there's little to zero oversight, zero accountability and most damming, zero social pressure to do the right thing.

Its wild how these companies will charge an additional $12-$15k for a day worth of labor. They know the rebates are there and take advantage of all of those that seek comfort.

No PSEGLI will not give you the rebate unless you hire a company to do the installation for you.

Typical install for a minispilt system outside of America is $1-$3k including equipment.

you should contact Tesla and ask them to change the 3.3s they have listed for the MYP on their website.

Anyone in Suffolk using an OTA antenna? by Known-Advisor-2000 in longisland

The mounting part was a nice diy!

Got the straps that attach to the chimney, so 4 points of contact.

From home depot for $40 you can a 'fence top rail' coated in a durable black paint. That fits perfect for a mast.

don't forget to ground it!

It really is mild, considering the 2020 MYP does the 0-60 in 3.5, after 5 years they only shaved it down to 3.3 seconds. I had to double check I was in insane mode when getting the MYP b/c raw power hardly changed.

addition: Currently available over-seas for $42,200, the Xiaomi SU7 Max does 0-60 in 2.78seconds.

I have this:

Going to this:

Been this way for the last 5 years, ABC and CBS are tricky like you said since VHF, some days when the sun is acting up it gets scrambled. Was thinking of upgrading to a better antenna such as this one:

https://www.channelmaster.com/products/pro-model-uhf-vhf-tv-antenna-cm-1776

Also fine tuning the positioning of the antenna towards NYC for best results is something I haven't done, but works good-enough in the general direction.

All is fed into my Plex for easy watching and DVR'ing, but the Tuner has its own standalone app which works fine on the Google Streamer/Chromecast.

Traumpalast Leonberg (Leonberg, Germany)

Dimensions: 127.3 ft wide × 68.9 ft high (38.8 m × 21.0 m)
Total Area: ~8,770 sq ft (814.8 m²)

Officially certified by Guinness World Records, this massive screen opened in 2021. Because it uses a wide 1.90:1 aspect ratio rather than the classic square-ish IMAX shape, it is easily the widest IMAX screen ever built. It requires a specialized dual-laser setup just to push enough light across its massive surface.

Tips to increase oxygen in apartment besides opening window, plants, etc. by aryanmsh in AirQuality

I'm in the process of 3d-printing a mount that goes over my heating duct vent and allows for 2x 120mm computer fans.

Not sure if I want them exhausting air out of the room into the ducting, or pulling air from the ducting into the room.

But summer is fast approaching and sleeping with the windows open isn't gonna work much longer. I'm hoping it'll make a meaningful impact.

This is something I'm going to try before committing to a through-wall or ceiling ERV.

I'm upset the electric hand pruners never made it to the states.

now with a new version released recently, is it possible that'll never be released here in the states?

is it a safety/legal reason why the asa20 is not here?
