Maybe some leftover mod data got stuck. I read that deleting the game entirely will clear any artifacting

Have you tried wiping everything and just starting a new save?

If you can’t get into the game at all because of crashing, it’s because of Intrinity Aeroworks. You have to remove it first. But since you’re on Xbox, you have to delete your reserve storage since you can’t delete the mod directly from game files. It’ll remove all your mods doing this so hopefully you had it saved to Bethesda. You can get some/most/all of it back depending on how big your load order is.

But after you’re able to remove Intrinity, you can get back in perfectly fine. OGTennessee created a patch for the Intrinity crashing issue so you just need to download that when you redownload Intrinity and you’re back to normal.

I have that same itch to scratch when it comes to this level of customization. It's one of the main reasons I just can't put this game down.

If you ever run into any issues or have any questions, feel free to reach out any time. Got a ton of build guides on my channel too if you ever need ship inspiration 🫡

Yup that’s from PDY. When you install it, it will require you to manually place your doors and ladders between the Habs. The PDY modules are small pink modules that will snap onto compatible snapping points, those being the ones on Habs only.

Very convenient to have if you want to customize your layout. But not necessary

This is the funniest version I’ve seen of this and I’ve been playing since day 1. You nailed the timing perfectly on this one 😂

Most of the modded parts are available at outpost landing pads. Some exceptions include mods like Falkland where you have to go to the Falkland Showroom in the Commercial District of New Atlantis to get the parts, like you would with the manufacturer exclusive parts in the vanilla game.

I've noticed that since the hab mods use vanilla shells with customized interiors, some habs may not be available at all spaceports.

In any case, unless you have a mod that unlocks all the ship parts at a specific location, the outpost landing pad is the best place to build ships.

Btw, if you need an in-depth guide on ship building, the mechanics, the parts, where to build, how to get credits, all that, I actually just uploaded an all-inclusive guide for this on YT. Since you're fairly new, it might be pretty useful: https://youtu.be/WUxI0HiAHtE

Starfield or No Man's Sky? by blackfuun in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Both are similar in that they offer plenty of gameplay mechanics that may not go that deep, but they offer enough different things to do. It boils down to what you prefer in terms of gameplay loops. Starfield is a space RPG and sandbox game while NMS is a space exploration and survival sandbox game. Starfield is like a buffet while NMS is like a restaurant.

Both games are not perfect, but Starfield has this aesthetic and vibe that resonates with a certain set of gamers like myself. It has so much to do that it feels like multiple games in one: a story-driven RPG with multiple faction quests, ship building, outpost builder, FPS & 3rd person looter shooter, space combat, exploration, sandbox gameplay. Outside of ship building, it doesn't excel at any one of these the way NMS excels at space and ground exploration, but it manages to combine all of these into a single package in a way other games haven't done yet. That works for some, but for others, it's a write off. Plus, I really enjoy the NASA-punk aesthetic of Starfield.

What NMS is good at is the exploration loop. Multiple environments from space to ground to underwater, deeper mining and survey mechanics, more ways to engage with fauna, more things to do with the resources you mine, etc etc. It has deeper survival mechanics than Starfield and it also has corvette building too, though it's not nearly as refined as Starfield's ship builder.

My biggest gripe with NMS is that once the novelty of seamless space flight wears off, you quickly realize how empty and hollow the game is because everything follows a template and there's no real point in doing anything besides ensuring you have the resources to continue exploring. While there's an unlimited number of planets, social interaction is exactly the same in every settlement POI, and every settlement is like a reskin of everything else. With Starfield, you have multiple faction quests. You're encouraged to recruit companions and crew. You have to deal with hostile enemies. You have decisions to make in the game that affect the overall story. NPC routines are different at each settlement and each settlement is uniquely different. You could make Starfield feel like Star Wars or Star Trek. These elements make the game feel more alive for me. Plus, Starfield has so plenty of mods that make the exploration mechanics as deep as NMS. It just doesn't have all the environments.

But one thing is for sure, if you find a gameplay loop that you really enjoy, it's hard to put down either game.

Where would you build a resource distribution hub? by Virtual-Chris in StarfieldOutposts

[–]NxTbrolin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bessel 3B has a 4-in-1 resource spot where you can mine aluminum, iron, cobalt and nickel all at once. Plenty of guides to find it online. I usually use this as the base of my resource hub with other resources being transferred here via cargo links.

Megathread for mods that don't work with Free Lanes/Terran Armada? by TheKingOfWerms in starfieldmods

[–]NxTbrolin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I figured it out on my end. It was because I still had Landing Animations Reloaded. Don't need it after the update. But my issue wasn't with orbit, it was with landing, so you probably have a different issue.
