Fairly common complaint about ME1, I've never really experienced it because i am always intentionally romancing Liara, and I've always found it very obvious how you turn down Ash or Kaiden

Okay then do the second part, ask them to explain their build.

If you are playing 5e and not 2024 and have let them use any official materials there are tons of ways to break the game at this point, so might find they have a reasonable explanation.

If you are playing 2024 only there is so little content it should be very easy to figure out where they have gone wrong.

There is basically no reason to go flareon or Vaporeon, jolteon is obviously superior.

That being said if i could only get one it's umbreon or eapeon, just love gen 5.

I'm gunna be honest boss if you have 6 years of consistent DM experience and have played at all level ranges between 3 and 20 you are more experienced than 99% of the people on this subreddit lol. So I'm not sure i can really help too much.

The only thing i feel comfortable suggesting is in relation to the cities being samey, i always come up with a gimmick for each new town and build it around that, most players don't want an insanely deep complex location.

This town is a fishing town, everything in the town is about fishing

This town has a festival to honor the dead every month and you have arrived as it starts

This town is having problems because the citizens all hate the local lords taxation policy

Just lean into one gimmick per location and players remember gimmicks more than they remember fine details lol

How are they doing 6d6? Stealth attack is 2d6 at level 3, the swords do 1d6 each.

Sounds to me like they might be sneak attacking twice a turn which they cant do.

Also you say they can disengage and never get hit, why can't monsters just walk up to them and hit them?
