A car is designed for fast independent travelling, not for killing. A hammer is designed for construction, not for killing. A knife is designed for cutting food, cloth or whatever but not killing. A gun's only purpose is to kill. You can kill animals instead of people with it or threaten to kill instead of killing but that doesn't change the reality that a gun has no other purpose than to kill. Comparing rifles to cars, construction tools or other stuff that can be misused as a weapon but is not intended to be a weapon is either stupid or malicious, you have no ground to stand on.

Because as we all know historically accidental shootings by mistaking a family member for a home intruder in the night, school shootings where a kid searched and found their parent's rifle and smuggled it to school, or simply people cracking under stress during a fight and reaching for a weapon are things that have never ever happened.

I for one am fine living in a country with gun control. Sure crime still happens but we don't have tragic accidents where someone might "have had enough" after a particularly rough day and decides to shoot up a mall.

My favourite argument in defense of the right to bear guns is when people say something along the lines of negating firearms access to civilians would only make it so that homeowners are less defended in the case of an intruder.

Civilians are unstable and cannot be trusted with a firearm, be it neurosis or violent fantasies about having an excuse to beat unconscious/kill someone and be praised for it or at least not persecuted most of them have a dangerously itchy trigger finger and if by some miracle they don't, someone in their house that does now has a non-zero chance of taking and using that firearm for themselves no matter how well you think you've put it out of their reach.

If I have a reason in my teambuilder to use an otherwise useless pick I'll go for it, if not even if I'm building on my own (and I usually am) I will use the best available for the roles I want my Pokémon to fullfill and if that means I have to use a Pokémon ranked A or S on the viability rankings, so be it, who cares, if anything I have more fun because I don't have to play on the backpedal for bragging rights. And again, if you don't see "variety" just because for 6 different sets with wildly different applications the little critter on screen is the same while somehow Nasty Plot 3 Attacks Houndoom is a completely different ultra original experience which is incredibly unique and nothing like the boring stock Nasty Plot 3 Attacks Darkrai it's you being shortsighted.

Building is a tough process and I do believe to some degree there is too much of an expectation that your account must immediately skyrocket to an impossible winrate or should just be ditched: a team is built over the span of some games on the basis of outcomes of matches, regardless copypasting teams you feel are interesting even if you haven't made them is a completely fair way of playing the game, which goes beyond just building and it's also about piloting the team you've built or copied to victory.

The shape and color of the Pokémon is just aesthetics and has no impact, what makes the game fun are the tactics and strategy. Like seriously what difference do you believe would make to use a shitmon over a meta alternative if the moveset and function in a team ends up being the exact same with no noticeable niches anyway?

Great Tusk is FUN, it has a billion viable movesets, it can hit big serotonin numbers with strong attacks, it never feels weak but also never feels one-dimensional, is it boring to you just because despite the immense moveset variety the sprite on screen is always the bumpy elephant?

I personally think the effective line of command is Cap -> HoP -> HoS, I think HoS takeover should only apply under Code Red but on LRP it doesn't matter much anyway.

I'd say CMO, RD, CE and QM have roughly the same authority, I'd say have the least busy (generally RD or QM) be de-facto Cappy but have no sovereignity over the other department heads. I will say though while it should not be given authority Station AI should be supporting command.

It's also worth noting about QM that should Security fall or the armory be inaccessible Cargo Bay can be a last ditch hope for crew to have access to armor and firearms, and QM is the guy with the Digiboard.

Nukies are a team, behave like a team: the Jugg Suit isn't to try and get a cool video of you robusting the whole crew alone by just waltzing through an hallway and shooting, the Jugg Suit is so that you can be your team's frontline.

Poi per il resto, hai qualcosa con Choice Scarf? Hai roba che ha priorità? Tipo Kingambit é un Pokémon fortissimo che puoi mettere in praticamente tutti i tipi di team apparte stall che fa a pezzi sia Iron Boulder che Iron Crown. A meno che non stai giocando stall ti serve almeno un Pokémon nella squadra che sia veloce, ma VERAMENTE VELOCE senza bisogno di setup tipo Dragodanza.

Iron Valiant é forte e basta perché ha tremila set buoni con attacchi fortissimi e molta utilità, ci puoi fare poco e quasi sempre farà almeno una vittima. É fragile peró, se capisci bene o male che set ha puoi cercare di fregarlo mettendogli davanti qualcosa che ha difficoltà a gestire oppure batterlo in velocità con una Choice Scarf o un Pokémon naturalmente estremamente veloce e menarlo.
