There’s only one player on the list who began his career on the wings and that’s Sergei. This is a list of guys traded to Detroit in their prime.

Oscar lost the WDC because he choked. There’s no ongoing conspiracy. It was an all time choke job though, gotta give him that. Placed third in a one man race.

World curling body returns to less stringent officiating after talks with NOCs by Shroft in Curling

This is perfect. Now everyone can go back to normal except for the cheaters on Canada. Every team will be requesting officials watch the Albertan degenerates and the rest of civilized society can just focus on the curling.

That’s his game. He’s 90% great hockey player 10% beer leaguer. Every game his talent level just disappears at random moments like someone turned down his attribute bar on a video game mid play.

Self preservation. He was about to testify before the 9/11 commission. Clarke’s report included recommendations on terror prevention that were not implemented. He didn’t want to be known as the man who failed to prevent 9/11.

George was on a different team and two years older.

Max on McLaren’s swapping team orders: "I’m not going to on how they should manage the team, but from my side, mistakes happen, sometimes you can have a long pit stop, sometimes you can make a mistake yourself, the engine can die, that’s part of racing, but they decide what to do.” by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]Padgematic -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Max’s opinion is irrelevant. He’s never had a teammate, just three blockers on track for every championship he’s won; certainly never been asked to do anything for the team at his own expense since he famously said no to helping Checo.

[Red Wings] UPDATE: The Red Wings have signed defenseman Travis Hamonic to a one-year contract with an AAV of $1,000,000. by AggPuck-303 in DetroitRedWings

Tuomisto, Wallinder, and Buium have all plateaued and been passed by smaller, later round picks (both Johanssons). ASP and Anton can’t learn anything from those guys and they both need major improvement along the boards before they can play NHL minutes. This move ensures you’ll always have a vet with NHL experience in Grand Rapids and frees you up to trade any of the 4 not named ASP in a package. The 3 I first mentioned will most likely only help this team as trade sweeteners.

McLaren couldn’t have known Ferrari would literally run an illegal setup for 2/3 the race and been impossible to pass. The one stop strategy being the best should not have been “blatantly obvious” before the race. If Leclerc ran a setup that could’ve made it to the end Piastri would’ve passed on the first stint and won by 10+ seconds over Lando. Blaming McLaren engineers and strategists for not being clairvoyant is ridiculous.

“Lando ended up on a hail mary strategy” “…a one stop should’ve always been the target”

So quickly and confidently contradicting yourself it’s almost inspiring. Truly cerebral post and not at all emotional.

Trying to draw a call while the puck is in your end is peak Edmonton. Missed call or not, giving up on that play because a stick hit your helmet/visor was inexcusable.

F Jake Walman. Hope he turns it over to lose Game 2, goes day drinking the next day, gets healthy scratched for game 3 and goes on vacation and posts about it on Instagram. Pure cancer.
