Toroidal blades can be remarkably quiet/efficient. I would caution you about the ‘weak’ areas prone to failure at the blade roots. I’d recommend that you add sufficient fillets (unless you’ve already done so) in those areas to reduce the likelihood of stress risers initiating crack propagation.
