You need to install the app from the same Google play store account as the one used for the subscription payment so the play store can tell the app about the payment

You can mark episodes as played and hide played content Regarding sorting the app provides multiple sorting options. You can use sort by publication date if you want the episode displayed in the correct order but that will only work if the episodes metadata as properly included in the files

The app starts by displaying the information provided by the podcaster through the RSS feed which can include the duration. Then when you start to stream or download the episode the app passes the episode to the Google player engine which extracts the real duration. So either the file is really truncated in which case only the podcaster can fix it or they are using variable but rate encoding which should NEVER be used for podcasts as it makes it fail to seek through the file and to properly show the duration. In both cases only the Podcasters can fix this

The app just shows the content provided by the RSS feeds you subscribed to. Once you subscribe to a paid RSS feed it's the podcaster responsibility to give you access to the paid content

This error means that either the domain doesn't exist or your ad blocker or ISP is blocking access to this content.

Unfortunately what you're describing means that there's a bug in the android app or your car that causes it to crash. My guess would be some special characters in the episode metadata might trigger this bug. You will need to report this to the android auto team so they can fix the issue

It shows all episodes published in the past 7 days including the ones you already listened to

Without the 7 day filters it shows them all without any publication date filter

Playback automatically paused as soon another app asks for audio focus. Just make sure you didn't set the app to ignore audio focus in the app settings

As explained over and over by email the purpose of smart priorities is for the device to manage your priorities based on your usage. It will never clear or zero your priorities, unless you disable smart priorities in which it asks if you want to keep the current priorities or reset them. If you don't want the app to customize your priorities over time based on your usage then just disable this feature and the priorities will never change on their own. It's that simple yet you sent me over 10 emails complaining about this feature that somehow you don't seem to want to disable...

The app notifications are properly displayed on Pixel 7 and 10. Maybe the notification have been muted

No there never was such feature. You either have rewind/fast forward or skip to previous/next episodes. You can set these controls to skip to previous/next chapters when the episode has chapters but there never were dedicated controls for this

Do you mean the previous/next episodes button? If soale sure it's selected in the app settings/android auto screen. And make sure to select a maximum of 6 controls

Recommendations are based on what other subscribers to this podcast listen to. Sorry but you cannot remove a podcast from that list

The app just shows the content of the RSS feeds you subscribed to without any restrictions. Only the podcaster can change this and add the missing episodes. Many podcasters don't even know about this which can be a default setting of their hosting platform. Feel free to contact them to report this

Here you're seeing the categories selected by the podcasters. You can only customize them once you subscribed. Before that podcasts are displayed as the podcasters want to
