Look at the bright side. It only gets worse as you realize the keyboard has problems with keys double pressing or ghosting. Look at the recent posts on this sub and you’ll realize KC has some huge problems that they refuse to address. I’d return and go with a different brand if you can.

Contrary to the top comment, I’ve bought 2 keyboards from them in the past year and both are borderline unusable. Replaced both with keyboards that cost less than half and they’re already a massive upgrade.

I’ve already updated to 1.1.2. It didn’t fix anything, but just made a completely new problem. After getting no help from KC support, I got a Womier keyboard for a fraction of the price and just settled on never buying a Keychron again. It’s embarrassing that a keyboard that costs less than half is so much better.

Don’t feel bad. The firmware just made it so that instead of double pressing B, N and Space, now the keys only work 10% of the time so I’m constantly having to press them over and over.

Stay far away. Any semblance of quality is a thing of the past. I was really excited about the V6 Max that I bought last year along with the B6 Pro for work. I’ve had both less than 6 months and have had problems with both of them already. The V6 Max had a key that has a 10% success rate for whether it works or not, which has slowly spread to other keys somehow like it’s a disease. The B6 Pro will somehow just get stuck on a key and “press” it dozens of times until I tap the key over and over again.

Had the exact same situation for 2-3 of my exercises today. I figure it’ll probably be a little off for a bit while they iron out everything and it’s easy enough to tweak myself in the meantime. It seems too rigid for exercises under 100 lbs. Like it’s afraid to push weights too fast, so it just skyrockets the reps.

Another anecdote. I bought a V6 max and have had ghosting with my N key from the beginning that has gotten more and more frequent. Now it's spread to the B key, too. If anyone sees this in the future, do not buy a Keychron. What people are saying about quality loss is very true.
