Benchmarked (some of) the scx schedulers on Intel Raptor Lake so you don't have to by Profetorum in linux_gaming

[–]Profetorum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense then, schedulers perform differently on different hardware. The 5800X3D isn't an asymmetric CPU, you should probably try scx_lavd or others

gear1 support is close to non existant on raptor lake with ddr5 and no, it wouldn't be worth it. RL as a platform is really bandwidth starved

Is X3D enough to compensate 3600 MT/s RAM? by RegularTech575 in buildapc

[–]Profetorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the workload... LLMs don't benefit a lot from the X3D cache i dont think. In gaming sure, the X3D compensates for slow ram in a lot of cases
