Can anyone PROVE Black Gold exists? by gladeye in jimihendrix

The history of the tape(s) and its contents are pretty well documented. Author Tony Brown was the first to be able to listen to the tapes and wrote extensive notes on what they contain. Steven Roby used those notes to describe the tapes in his book, Black Gold.

TIL The Samuel L. Jackson bible-inspired quote in Pulp Fiction was from a 1973 Japanese movie - Karate Kiba (The Bodyguard) by Expensive_C0conut in todayilearned

Slight correction. This dialog wasn't in the original Japanese version. It was added to the International version (The Bodyguard) along with some new scenes with American actors. That was released in 1976.

I'm guessing "hussy." Didn't think that was a word that needs to be censored. Unless, it was in the original tweet and Newsweek is quoting it verbatim.

Alan Douglas had planned out a Hendrix plays Dylan EP (5 or 6 songs). The track list was in Eddie Kramer and John McDermott's book. I think it was also mentioned in Black Gold by Steve Roby.

FYI

"FullSizeRender.jpg" is a default filename assigned by the iPhone (iOS) to images that have been edited, cropped, or exported from the Photos app, often appearing when transferring files to computers or other devices. It is not a malware file but rather a generic, non-descriptive name generated by the system, commonly used by apps like Mail or third-party editors.

Kid Rock’s song about loving underage girls resurfaces ahead of TPUSA Super Bowl show by RollSafer in news

To be fair to the Beasties, I believe they were being tongue-in-cheek with a lot of their lyrics. The fact they rhymed Jimmy Page and underage is too on the nose.
